CDing and Being Single

I sincerely hope that I'm not the only single gal in this forum, but I fear I may be. I know that most of you are either married or have SOs.

I should have gone to the city last night instead of staying home with my thumb up my... nose.

Long Island can be REAL boring sometimes. Meanwhile the city LOVES Lorna! Tired of being alone, unwanted & not getting any... I'm a human being! Not a fungus... Even CDs have needs...

If I wanted women to be so standoffish, I wouldn't be dressing at all! (Is that ironic or what? Going out en drab I drive women away in disgust, but as Lorna I meet GGs and hook up left & right... strange, but no complaints here!)

But in recent weeks I have hit a plateau. I only blame myself for getting too comfortable with passing up the city every weekend in order to stay local. I know what I must do. Go to the city, and stop wasting my time here on Long Island! It stinks. It's boring.

Long Island girls I have met here all claim to be so open-minded, but it all boils down to the same thing: They all want the same traditional macho, hairy, knuckle-scraping, remote-flipping, scratching, fighting, sweating, belching, farting type of guy.

I don't fit into that category and I don't ever wish to. I love who I am.

Fortunately the city is a completely different story. GGs in the city are truly as open minded as they say they are. So, tonight I shall rectify the situation and head to the city! There's a theme party at a bar in downtown Manhattan... the theme is underwear!

Plus, Lisa Jackson is performing there... and she has a very healthy GG following! :)

Thanks hon!

You should see what I'm wearing... I decided to wear this black lacy one-piece bodysuit, topped off with the lace glove thingies (minus the hands, those sleeve thingies, not sure what they're called) and my fave goth boots!

I'm feeling sexy, and it's time to ROCK... :)

Any chance you can take a picture with your cam?

Nothing reminds you how single you are quite like having people assume you're married.

Hi Lorna--
Good luck in the city, dear. Have fun, and we'll leave the porch light on!

Odd thing about being single (which I am), is that the person needs to meet both of "you." It's almost like being a parent, and you have to introduce your new romantic interest to a son or a daughter.

Thank you, my beautiful, beautiful gals! @@9@@

I had a GREAT time tonight... once again, I was in Manhattan and once again I met quite a few GGs... (Thank you Lisa Jackson for your GG following!) There was a total aura of love & flirting in the air with almost every GG I talked to...

I landed 3 phone # s tonight! Wow... I know most of us went thru this at age 19 but hey, when I was 19, I was repulsive to women. I guess I'm just a late bloomer here... but hey, you're as young as you feel... if I want to replay being 19,20 again then I shall... @@9@@

Manhattan women are the prettiest... and the most open minded... for any of you single CDs out there looking to meet open minded GGs, come to visit NYC for a couple of days! Nuff said.

And here I was earlier, whining about being alone when Manhattan is minutes away... geeeeeeez... LOL!!!

I am feeling naughty these days, but zi promise to keep it all safe!

Nope not the only single person. I am happly single. Though it does suck at times. Mostly when I am at friends and they have someone or a romantic song comes on.

Lorna!
I know that you know- that I know- that WE KNOW ----the best part about being single is that feeling that you might be JUST ABOUT to meet your true-love(---sigh---) 8) Tea-cake

Lorna,
Glad you had a good time and behaved yourself! Guess some of us are not into that "goth?" stuff, but the few pictures I have seen of it, it is sexy!
Think I will take or be taken out by Deborah tonight as my wife is going to visit her brother. He's the idiot that when his father told him I was a CD'er said, "If he hurts my sister I'll kill him." did I mention that my father-in-law, a retired minister is/was a CD'er, although his feelings that dressing in full war paint only on Halloween does not constitute being a CD'er. I simply asked him, "How many times does it take?" Have not heard a word about it from him or his wife sense!
Looking forward to the rush of going out, again.
Love, Deborah

Indeed, hon.

Unfortunately I will have to forego the city this weekend because Sunday is Mother's Day and I need to save my cash for a gift for Mom and brunch for three mothers... so no fun for me this weekend. :(

My mom's out of town, Lorna, so I won't actually have to have anything for her on Mother's Day proper. 8) I'd better have something for her when she gets back, though. 8-[

Yours,
Celia

Wow... it always seems that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.... Singles wish they had somebody, married wish they had freedom.....

As you know I am married, and VERY happy I am... I got the best, SEXIEST woman in the world.... I wouldn't trade it for the moon and the stars....

I myself have no social skills, so if I was single, I would be very unhappy... But it still strikes me as strange how there is this never ending feeling of being in the "wrong" situation....

To ALL I wish you luck in finding contentment with your current situation....
