Hey girls!

I'm new to this site! I need some help/advice? I have been dressing up for some time at home, however i have never ventured out in to the big wide world...... well apart from hanging the washing out etc. lol.

Any advice on going out, or your experiances on your first trip out?

sorry if this has been brought up before.

Thanks Neve xx

First trick is to overcome your nerves. It's not so hard once you've decided being housebound is no longer efficient.

Second is to pick a venue, and figure how you are going to get there. Public transport vs a car.

You can probably go most anywhere in the UK, free from the chavs.

You can dress as you like, but it might be best to dress down to fit in with the crowd.

Or you can find a support group nearby that have meetings and outings.

Hello Neve

Like you I am an English Rose

Whilst I live a distance from you - look around there are lots of places here that you can go to.

If I can help you please let me know. I am more than happy to help my sisters here.

Best wishes

Hi Neve

I would suggest going out in your car and just driving around for

awhile. (might be good to make sure you have gas, etc.)

anyway, do this a few times and than maybe stop for gas or go

thru a drive-thru for a hamburger or whatever. BABY STEPS!!!

Hugs

I really like the car idea. I was just thinking of taking a drive this weekend. Fill up the tank before hand, drive about an hour. Stop at a self serve gas station, get out of my car just long enough to put a little gas back in, if I feel up to it, and then drive home.

It's been a while and I'm kind of looking forward to it.

In my experience it's only a lucky minority of CDs who can pass successfully as a woman in public. Most are aware that they would likely be identified as a male straight away... However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to dress the way you wish!

Unfortunately, CDs who want to be outside dressed tend to put themselves in compromising (or even downright dangerous) situations because they feel the need to be in secluded areas, often late at night or where drunk or anti-social individuals may lurk.

So - when venturing outside, consider this - would a woman feel safe going to the same area you are visiting? Be safe!

When I first started going out dressed, the first few times was just getting in the car and taking a drive around the area. With the way car windows are tinted nowadays, it makes it hard to see the drivers face clearly. Also a nice pair of wrap around sunglasses also will help too.
Today, I go just about anywhere I want to and no one seems to notice or care. Once I had to out myself when I had to show my drivers License for ID purposes and even then at first the lady thought I was joking. LOL

OK sorry but I got to put my $.02 in here :?
This old gal has done it all in her life and to this day even tho the wife don't like it at 71 I still go out now and again.

First and formost you HAVE to dress the part and blend in, no short skirts and spikes.
Now I still can wear a dress or skirt and heels at times when I am in town when church is letting out and yes ladies are all dressed up coming from church ( you blend).

Now I don't care who you are and how good you think you look you are going to get read now and again (no big deal).

Always remember two things,
#1 all real GG are not beauty queens !
#2 most people don't give a D***

Head up, chest out, and walk like you belong there and never look back alway ahead. :please:
