I have a very white slight beard & mustache which my wife likes sadly it shows on photographs so I can't use them on this site. How can you deal with this?
I wear full-cd most nights now

I have never grown a beard or moustache. I suspect my life long light facial hair growth would have left me looking a bit moth eaten if I had persevered.

If you are not going out I do not see it as a problem. Its nice seeing you consider your wife's wishes. She being of the female persuasion may even change her mind in the future.

I shaved, because I planned on going out. My wife was against me shaving, but I managed to get her to realize how embarrassed she'd be being seen with me unshaven.

When not going out, it was never a problem.

A number of CDs don't give a damn what others think and just go out with facial hair. More power to them!

I think you have to shave, stay at home, or have "brass" i.e. a lot of nerve. I shaved mine off, my wife doesn't like it but ut also helps my tuba playing so it's staying off.

I can't grow a decent beard or moustache no matter how much I try. The beard ends up looking like a thatch roof badly in need of repair and the moustache looks like an anorexic caterpillar died under my nose. So I gave up.

On my web site, I haven't set up a web page to just address my fur face and how I deal with it. To summarize it all though, I simply grind it off; I use a foil electric razor. I had the rotary head type and it worked but I wasn't sure it wasn't harder on my face.

Next, I let my face cool, treating it like I burned it. I ice it or just slash cold water. This reduces the redness and irritation before applying make up. my make up is Dermablend. It it industrial strength. It will cover a shadow without any magic tricks or extra layers of this or that. With that said, it's heavy enough to equal all the layers of "this and that" but a whole lot less trouble if you ask me. I have dark fur but I too have a good amount of white. The white isn't a problem; it's all those black hairs. Dermablend has a foundation and a setting powder. that's all I use or those two items to cover my fur and my fur will stay covered all day and into the evening. Then I can add a blush to give me some cheeks.

I used electrolysis, but then I wanted it GONE.

On a practical level, I use a modern multi blade wet razor, with proper shaving soap, not foam! because my beard does not all grow in the same direction I sometimes have to go over it a second time. Then I moisturise, not aftershave, never aftershave, always cream. Then makeup over the cream.

If I am out for a full day I keep a battery foil shaver with me to top up, or should that be trim down. The only problem then is how to discritly make use of a shaver, in the ladies?

Like Davita much of my growth is now white, this is not a problem, but the bits that are still black are. I am now actually looking forward to going totally white!

I prepare myself for going out using a two blade razor and shaving oil after a normal shave

This leaves my face smooth for over 12 hours. Shaving oils are available in pharmacies and supermarkets in small bottles for around 3 or 4 pounds. They last for ages as I only use a couple of drops to shave.

I've been there for some time now. I can go without shaving for 48 hours without anyone noticing (including SO). But The prickly feeling is very annoying.

This is the truth, right here. There's not much out there that Dermablend won't cover.
