Coping

Post by Cherri »

This past weekend was unbelievable for me! I wanted to share with the wonderful people in this forum. My wife has known of my dressing for 29 of our 30 years married. We have talked over the years and it has been ok with her that i dress at approiate times at home. But i always had the feeling that she was humoring me.As it turns out it was an acceptance problem for me! accepting my fem self. 2 weeks ago there was an episode on OPRAH about tg people and the problems they encountered with society and family. I arrived home about half way into it and we watched it togeather. Near the end she turned to me crying and asked if i felt the people on the show felt. Itold her that i shared a lot of the same feelings. She came over to where i was sitting, hugged me very hard and said I love all of you dear your fem side and the man i chose to marry! Do not feel ashamed or that you have to hide parts of your life from me.I love the whole package. Well i must say it was quite a moment for me! So since that day the 10 ton elephant left my chest and i can breath more freely now than anytime in my life! This past weekend we both went shopping for girlie things. We talked openly with each other about what colors looked good on each other, fashions etc it was exlirating to say the least. Togeather we selected several blouses and panties for her and a blouse and skirt, thongs, and a waist cinch for me. Latter she went out by her self and purchased for me my first bottle of perfume and make up. I really cant describe my feelings today over joyed is a good start, but they go way beyond that. I believe we have taken our relationship to a new and exciting level. Partially because of you ladies and SOs in this forum. Thank you all Hugs and love Cherri
