Feeling a little pang

Post by DonnaT »

Went thru both closets to find things I can no longer wear, or just don't wear, to donate to charity.

Putting all my heels in the bag felt bad.

But, since my ankle surgery, I can't wear them anymore. Hard enough to just walk in tennis shoes.

If my ankle ever gets strong enough to wear heels again, then I can get some new ones. Until then, it's flats.

I have a severe rotator cuff tear or blow out last August, and only just now am able to raise my arm from my leg in a forward arc - if I do it slowly it is still painful but I can do it. If I make a "weekend at Bernie's move and throw my arm up in that same arc quickly I can. Progress is unfortunately very slow on somethings but I for one do not want to lose the full range of motion so I do the exercises and keep working on it. I also severely strained my ankle running and fell off about a 8-9" drop off the running surface the foot bent inward - I still have a larger than normal ankle but no pain or limp. Keep working at it, hope you will be back in those heels soon - George (Anne). Perhaps you will be able to progress to a court shoe to a 1", working up as you improve? I would really hate to throw away my heels and wedges!!
