OMG! Hiding in plane sight so to speak. Really I was looking at articles on bing and found some very good ones after entering: crossdressing why, something to that effect. Women are very powerful, and it is like wanting to put on a power suit to experience that power. It is the power to turn every head in the room, that sexual seductive energy that is intoxicating and addictive - never thought of this very obvious reason. Not only is it liberating, sexually stimulating, stress reducing like a hot shower but there is this addictive intoxicating power we as men do not have. Am I the only one who never thought of this?
I believe the part about being able - with our stereotypical thinking?? - no I think it is true - Men and women have different expectations placed on them. Men are Monolithic, wear only certain colors, can only show certain emotions, must be the strong ones, and are expected to carry the full weight of all the responsibilities (but child bearing, rearing, and motherhood of course). Of course we as men put this burden on ourselves our own mind but society does as well be it stereotypical for society to think of males and females differently like this it is still true that society places us in our expected role which is enforced in our upbringing from birth we are indeed socialized differently. But there are indeed psychological tendencies which are different between men and women - we are different creatures, our brains are different and how we act in nature is different generally all the way back to caveman, and woman days. There are exceptions, women who have been very aggressive warriors, etc.... Whatever.. I believe this is in part why we feel that sense of relief, for a while we are free of those male burdens placed on us not only by ourselves but by society and by our socialization as well, and are free to enter the world of women, like shifting weight from one foot to the other (after all women bear their burdens too but they are different or thought to be different to cross dressing men at least). Women drive their selves to a frazzle in meticulous detail from task to task. Perhaps we get lost in some of those same tasks when we dress - "women's work and activities" but that is a very simplistic thought I acknowledge, women make up half the work force, and though many attend also to children, families and home life, some give up having a family to work and climb the same ladders men climb meeting with equal success.
But the idea of enjoying and believing we can experience that sexual energy, the Power of women - yeah addictive and intoxicating, never thought of that as one of the varied reasons behind our drive to experience the feminine world through dressing, dressing being one component of our complex inner compulsive drive to experience our feminine side.

Can one be noted or seen in a different light yet still be a female. you walk into a room not sexy looking in fact quite the other way, you are seen just not in the way you say, you are noted & thats really it you dont show what you are capibale of till your given the oppitunity & then you are seen very differently , you have the expriance to back you up & with a high rank. Oh... Oh... they say i did not know you could do .....that... oh my . Hmmm.

So no looks are needed, or you really are really who you say you are, just different thats all looks dont count anymore. nore are needed,

No i dont measure up ,though i am looked at or being figgered out talk to me get to know me dont ...just ...look .

I did not climb any of those ladders to gain my rank. i gained my rank by experance through training & doing.

What about those who work with out pay behind the backdrop, most are women 80% & in some case's more. i know ,im there,

Some would like to think men & women are quite closely related, as in other than giveing birth, i wont debate that . only to say we are very different very very different , though what would i know im only a female thats missing a detail or two. & no i did not do the ,,,,,i was a male detail. ,,,,,did not start out that way, i see males i dont understand or know them.

Yes i know in some groups the men tryed to put on others a weight or burden of being the head of.....i rebelled against that & left later i saw the same detail. else where so i knew it was time out so , i do understand that part about some men , to me it was really about takeing control being the boss & over ride others wether men or women though for the most part was over the women,

& the men did not take kindly to this as happened in the States & England... our women stood up stated thier case & were thrown in jail shot & hurt . you see this in the 1800 - 1920's of cause its happened in other times,

Women not all of cause can pull a man sexualy so whos incharge then.

Just a thought here do dresser's crave this same thought / detail or wont to poistion themselfs so they have that over rideing sex appeal ... Hmmm i wonder.

It's one thing to know about that power that women have--since I was attracted to them, I experienced it when I was around women. I think that lots of men are curious about what it would feel like to have that power. They can see that it's not the same thing as male sexual power. But since there's no acceptable way to experience it, the average man just continues to be fascinated by women and lets it go at that. What drives us to go on beyond that and try to experience it for ourselves is a mysterious process.

This is a very interesting topic. Thanks for posting it. I think there is something to be said for the power of women to turn heads. I have often wondered about this intoxicating aspect of crossdressing.

I think, to some extent, its sort of like dressing in a costume so that you appear to be someone else. Someone without the same cares and worries as you have as a male. Of course, there are different concerns, such as being looked at by guys, who are attracted to you or just checking you out as the woman you appear to be.
