Up until now I have only dressed at costume events.
But now thinking about dressing at home since there is no one there but me. And i do enjoy it.
Have purged most of my old stuff given to me by a friend who ran a resale shop.
Will be buying some new skirts, dresses and pullovers.
What type of clothing would you recommend for around the house?
I was thinking about comfy skirts and capris.
Any advise?
Thanks ladies.

Carol Ann likes to were a nice house dress, sometimes carpi w/ sandals or maybe a pair of fem jeans and most of the time a skirt and top. All depends on what the day holds

Depends on your mood, but being comfortable is an added bonus.

I find capri length leggings with lycra to very comfy with my hose, pointy flats and matching top. If I want to feel more dressed I slip in a little black skirt, hose and heels with one of my matching tops. Makeup and a wig are the frosting on the cake! oh ya, keeping my toes painted always satisfies my feminine side.

I will begin by wearing khaki slacks, tan top. earrings, blonde wig, comfortable pair of pumps ( I have edema) as well as makeup and red lips, of course.
Does that sound good to you ladies?

Not to me, but that is because I don't wear slacks when CDing.

Well I do have a long black skirt, blue top, pumps, earrings, blonde wig and makeup with my red lips.
How will that do?

Hi Martha. When I have Requal time what I wear is dictated by my mood and what I will be doing when "en femme". Most time times it is a skirt and top with hose. I do however have my little black dress and a nice summer frock that I wear from time to time.
I also do not wear slacks or jeans when dressed.
The long black skirt and blue top and accessories sounds beautiful.

I'm always dressed at home, usually wearing clothes which will pass up at the shops though, generally leggings and a jumper (it's winter here) which I can throw jeans and a jacket over

I see that there are some nice skirts and tops on sale at Blair ( on line store).
I think I will order some since I purged all my old stuff.
I might even get a pair or two of capris as well.
The skirts are all elastic waists and the pullovers I'm sure will fit fine.
However, I am not too sure about the capris without trying them on.
If cheap enough, might try one. It it fits then order more.
I already have some petticoats. May need some new panties though!
Well, we will see!

Will also get some nice house dresses.
I don't go out dressed, only to costume parties so will need some nice skirts and tops.
I am very new at this so thanks for the advise.
