Of Sports Bras, Cracked Ribs, and Shingles and Gynecomastia

This is a sort of progression of things -- so its 1971 -- I was blessed with gynecomastia. Yes -- I did then and do now see it as a blessing.
Then to 1994 -- I developed a line of lesion and welts below my bra band line -- shingles. Very painful! Even to this day when I get stressed, they hurt.
Plop down in 2010 -- I slip in the yard on some ice -- two cracked ribs.
So, 2 years ago I go to the doctor because my rib injury is aching and the shingles have flared up. He says to take antiinflammatory. I tell him about my gynecomastia and ask if my wearing a good supporting sports bra will help with the rib pain. His response - 'It definitely will'
So there you have it -- my doctor has prescribed sports bras for me. And I do have to tell you that when i go out for my bike ride, especially along some bumpy trails, it really does help.
In the summer when sitting in bed watching TV with my wife, you will see me in nothing but shorts -or more often skorts -- and a sports bra.
Plus -- I am darn cute in one!
