As I grow older my fem side seems to want to be out more

Is it just me or are there more of us, that as we get older the desire to be femme seems to be getting stronger? I know for me if I could be femme all the time I really think I would be the happiest person alive. How about you?

I think it is a combination of things. Later in life youre a bit more comfortable with yourself, perhaps life situations have changed and we can focus more of ourselves, empty nest, etc. Perhaps even the realization that these feelings are NOT going away. Seems like a lot of us have the realization early, but never really pursue it until a bit later.

Rumor has it there can be some hormonal changes as well. The bottom line, is we need to figure out how to accomodate the changes and drives to stay sane.

I've noticed it as well. Over the last 6 or 7 years my desire to be femme 24/7 has become almost unbearable. The "mehh" times as I call them when I couldn't care about my femme side have all but gone. I think Davita is right about the hormonal changes, sure that has something to do with it.

The hormonal changes probably have something to do with it but IMHO the fact more are coming out, the availability of information concerning transgenders, and the more liberal beliefs of society today has some to do with it as well. It sure is a lot different than it was back in 1979!

I don't know what it is but the older I get then more preoccupied I am
with Crossdressing. I really don't know why but maybe its the
falling off of the testosterone.

As I get older (I am 72) and want to dress as a woman more and more. I am starting to feel more womanly as well
You can't really fight it!

I agree with all of the above. I do not know what it is however as my age has increases the desire to dress has also increased.

I too see myself dressed as a woman more as I get older. Have been becoming more feminine as well.
At this time I thoroughly enjoy dressing as a mature woman. It is so relaxing being a woman. In fact I just love it!

I can relate to everything that was posted above. As I get older, I have a stronger desire to be more feminine and to dress and groom feminine. I also don't want to fight the desire. I recently came out to my wife, and it is wonderful. Granted my wardrobe is limited to panties and feminine workout wear right now, but it is still nice to be able to dress freely.
