New hairdo!

Post by OliviaM »

I bought a new wig yesterday. It is from the same store as my first and the woman owner is great with no problem and helpful. Tried it on and looked nice in the store. However, when I put it on later at home, It just didn't look right. It is long with curls and one side looks OK but the other side looks really different and messy. Trying to figure out what to do and if it can be fixed. Perplexed and a little disappointed.

Careful with wigs, Olivia. They require lots of TLC to keep them looking great. Since you like the service where you bought it, I suggest you take it back and have the lady show you how comb and style it. How to wash and store it, buy the right brush or combs, shampoo and conditioner.

They do seem to have a limited life, proper care will prolong that life. Longer wigs are harder to keep nice. My Hubby has switched from long wigs to just above the shoulder. Easier to care for, less expensive (Yea!) and are more age appropriate.
