The Stupidly Looking Hat

What? If you had a stupidly looking hat? But? When ever you put it on, you felt just great. So when you wore the stupidly looking hat you looked happy, because well? You are. So now you look happy wearing a stupidly looking hat, when you should look upset, or not wear one at all..Because? Well? It is a stupidly looking hat. Now when other people see you looking happy wearing a stupidly looking hat? It confuses them because they don't see why you would look happy wearing a stupidly looking hat. So it makes you look stupid, not because of the hat itselt, but because you are displaying the wrong expression. Now you are mimimalized for being to stupid to display the correct emotion.

But when you are wearing the stupidly looking hat, you are unaware that there is even a discussion about how stupid you look or are, because you are too busy feeling good.

Love to all,
Elizabeth

Elizabeth ,

Was a bit confusing but strangly I seem to understand it .
Funny thing is I saw an elderly lady wearing a grey flared bottom knitted beach type hat today , I thought to myself it looked stupid

Hi all,

Elizabeth,

The people who snicker behind my back while pointing at my stupidly looking hat secretly envy my happiness.

And I walk on, whistling...

Love,
CJ

Hi Elizabeth,

That has to be one of the most profound truths I have read in a very long time. =D> :)

CJ, I'm with you. Except I can't whistle worth a darn. #-o

Hi Kathy,

You might want to switch to a lipstick brand that has a higher moisturizer content. <>

Appologies to Elizabeth ,
I didn't understand your thread properly when making my above reply , so sorry to make a joke out of it.
its finally sunk into my thick head and I can relate to it

Some years back I gave my fringe a straight cut above the eyebroughs , with long shoulder lenght hair I boarded a train full of people sniggering at me, looked like a 5 year old girls haircut that mum had done .
I wore the stupidly looking hair with pride , their sniggers bounced off me like sunlight hitting a mirror.
