This could only happen to me

Hi girls,

Tonight I was sitting at my computer reading this very forum when I got the "cop knock" on my door. Now I am only about 3 feet from the door, but I am not expecting anyone. I am fully dressed in a nice skirt, blouse, hose, makeup, the works.

So figuring it is one of my kids friends, I summons my son to answer the door. He opens it a crack and looks back at me letting me know it is not for him, and he really don't know who it is. (That males talking with looks thing). I motion him to open the door all the way and there is a very overweight hispanic woman at my door, and she has an article of clothing in her arms. She is a very short woman, about 5', and very round, shaped very much like my mother. She had two children with her, one I would say was about 12 and the other about 8. I am half hispanic.

Me and the kids had been doing laundry so I suspected that perhaps she was checking to see if I left this article clothing in the laundry room. But to my surprise she holds up this red dress and says "This don't fit me any more, but I think it would look beautiful on you" in a very gentle hispanic accent and handed it to me. I thanked her and she walked away.

I stopped her and introduced myself, and she returned telling me her name, and we had a very gentle handshake. I again thanked her, and she told me I was welcome and walked away.

Because she offered it in such a nice, friendly, and accepting way, I just don't think this was a visit about curiosity. Her offer was so confident she did not need to be reafirmed that I was a crossdresser. I took this as a sincere offer of friendship and acceptance.

Now acceptance is coming to my door. It is seeking me out.

I just want to add one more thing. If any of you have rechecked my home page, it is a link to my "myspace.com" site. The best networking and meeting people site I have ever seen, because it is geographically specific to a milage circumference you set. Already two women have contacted me who live in my town, that don't have a problem with the fact that I crossdress, who would like to meet me, shop with me, and bascially be my friend. Considering I only contacted 5 people, that is not too bad.

Anyway, all of this has put me and my kids, who thought both of these things were just wonderful, in a great mood, when we really needed it.

Here is the URL to my "myspace.com" site, I reccomend this.fpr anyone who wants to make friends.

That's cool, but how did she know you would want it? I mean has she seen you out and about?

How did she know? :?

I'm waiting for Elizabeth's answer, but I know from bitter experience that real women have an instinct for anything out of the ordinary, especially when their man is hiding something.

I wonder if it is inherited or learnt?

In the Middle Ages they used to call them witches and burn them.

Horrible thought - do they burn CDs now instead of witches? (just realised that could be a pun on burning CDs, sorry.... #-o ).

Watch your back!!

Hi girls,

I live in an apartment complex that consists of 6 buildings and 92 apartments. I am sure she seen me going to or from the laundry room or to and from my car.

I am not sure she knew I would accept it. But I don't really dress in boy clothes anymore. I don't think it is a secret I am a crossdresser. I think it was her way of saying it is ok with her. At least that is how it made me feel.

Perhaps it was just curiosity and she was willing to sacrifice a dress that no longer fit her to satisfy her curiosity? However I did not get that feeling, I got the feeling it was a real gift. She seemed very sincere. She did make me feel accepted if that was her intention, which I believe it was.

In any event, I looked at it as something positive, and it just seems that the more open and honest I am, the better I get treated. I know it made my kids feel great because it is an affirmation of thier acceptance of me. They continue to see others accept me and make no big deal of the fact that I am a crossdresser.

It would seem I really am a human being.

Love always,
Elizabeth
