Hi Everyone:

Been away for a good while, Been fighting the CD and Male role fight again. Living so far apart from my love and wife is so hard at times that I wonder why I go on. Then I her my gran daughter an I know why. Money.

I am very disappointed in myself as of late, I came to the reality that my world is based on the Dollar I make not in my family as it should be. I have the circle to deal with in Dallas I can't make enough to live as I do and support my family as I do now. Living away i can.

I would much rather be in Dallas area with the gran daughter but then I would lose everything I have. So the Circle is the Circle of live. My kids can not support themselves so I have to do it and then there is Maddie Gran daughteer.

I saw you post about the Island and then came across this post! I am glad your back. I have thought about you often and hoped you were doing alright, glad to see your posts again.

Hi Gelinda,

I am so glad to see you back. Even if just for a while. All I can say, is that I have been in your exact situation. And I decided I didn't want the stuff that bad. Stuff comes, and stuff goes. But life passes you by while you work it away.

When my wife left I was trying to be a good husband providing for my family so my wife would not have to work. Instead she ended up leaving me. And the whole time? I thought I was being a "good man".

Funny how perceptions can be so far off. I thought I had a happy marriage. I have had to face a lot of difficulty this year, a lot of things I had been hiding from, hoping they would go away if ignored them.

I hope everything is getting better. It's really quite awesome to have you back. It's not the same without you. There are so many people who make up the forum and without them it's not the same.

Thanks for being so honest and open and for letting us know why you were gone. I think it's therapeutic for us to realize that there are spats of none dressing or conflict we all go through. It's also great advice for the lurkers (yes you!) (not you Gelinda) out there who never respond or log in, but use the forum for therapy.

That's a lot of words to just say "I missed you and I'm glad you're back, huh?"
