Living as a girl

Post by Elizabeth »

Hi girls,

I have now dressed as a woman 24/7 since August 14, with the exception of going to court. But even after court, I have immediately changed into my femme clothing. So we are coming up on three months now.

I have to tell you, I would have no problem at all throwing away my boy clothes. While I have a good understanding that I am not a girl, it sure feels normal dressing like one. OK, that's a lie, it feels great!!!. I go everywhere, do everything dressed female. I don't wear a wig, or breastforms, or even a bra for that matter.

I mostly wear dresses and skirts, but I do have 5-6 pairs of girls pants I throw into the mix. All the people that I had a personal relationship with, as far as the public, like the people in the bank, or the post office, or the grocery store all treat me the same, with many complimenting me and even encouraging me on having the courage to live a life that makes me happy. Not once have I been admonished.

My kids are very supportive, and all of thier friends know and visit our house as usual. No one really treats me different. There have been no kids who are banned from visiting because of me, and there have been no kids who have shunned my kids because of it.

So after three months of living my life dressed female, I can report that it feels just as good now, as it ever has. I really don't see me ever tiring of this. Not saying that it can't happen, but it is so fullfilling to get to interact with the world, dressed in a way that allows me to feel like me, that I don't see it happening.

I still don't see me ever transitioning for a whole variety of reasons, mostly concerns about the long term effects of taking hormones. This will also most likely prevent me from ever going on hormones also. I have considered testosterone blockers, and I think I may very well pursue this.

Well, I just wanted to let everyone know how it is going, and as far as the crossdressing part of my life, it is going great. I have also met women who have accepted me for who I am. Making me feel very much more encouraged about the possibility of finding Mrs Right.

I do have my ups and downs, but all in all, I have a very positive outlook.

Love always,
Elizabeth

That's really great Elizabeth. As for taking any hormones or blockers, I've heard of cases where the urge to dress disappeared after a spell and then the person was unhappy. The old proverbial, "would you take a pill to stop CDing if you could?" question. So I'd give it some more thought.

Good for you, Elizabeth!! (--)

I endevor to do the same hopefully soon. Doing heavy construction work every day has driven my desire to dress completely through the roof! I come home and the first thing I do is change into my femme clothes.
Live it. Love it. OWN IT.

Hey, Elizabeth, our Oak Tree! I am so happy that you are comfortable with youir current lifestyle - Rock on Girl! I do have a question as you did not mention a couple of things and I am just curious: Type of shoes, I know to match your outfit but heels, flats, hose?? And second, any make-up, including lipstick, eye shadow, liner, etc.
Just curious. I wear a slightly neutral eye shadow and mascara most of the time and some lip gloss as well as perfume.
Love ya,
Virginia

Virginia,

I wear makeup everyday. My avatar shows how I wear my makeup. Stick foundation and packed poweder. Dark brown eyeliner and mascara. Also dark brown eyeshadow on the upper lid only, to bring out my brown eyes. I have shaped my eyebrows, and use a dark brown pencil on them. I wear lipstick everyday, usually pink as it is not too provacative for just going out and about. I wear a little bit of blush so I look alive. I have heels and flats. Although I only have 5 pairs of shoes, I get by ok. I wish I had 100 more pairs of shoes. I carry a ladies wallet that holds all my stuff, including lip gloss. And I wear panty hose most days because it feels so good and now that it is cooler out, they are also warm. In the summer, I almost never wore panty hose, mostly because I love seeing my painted toenails. I also always wear very feminine earrings, rings, and a necklace with my lucky four leaf clover charm on it, and a variety of bracelets. I am growing my hair out long again, and have been having it cut to accomidate for that fact. When it is longer, I will have it cut in a totally feminine style.

I hope I answered what you wanted to know. If not just let me know, I am more than willing to share my experience with all of you.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth--
I am glad you're finding acceptance with your current level of dress. It sounds as though the price has not too high, (though I think you would have been willing to do this even it if it had been higher).

It will be good when you get the hair longer, and femmed. That will help the look a lot.
