Well maybe Darlene was right when she told me not to write off the future in her reply to my "Twas 2004 " post.
I have recently been invited to a TG night out in a suburb about 20 minutes drive from here , as you know I have been out in public 4 times with my daughter taking photo's but I have never been in any personal contact with anyone whilst out.
The night is next friday Jan 21 , it is a dinner in a private room with many local and interstate TG's , CD's , and friends of .
Then some of the girls will head off to the local TG friendly night club , I'm not really interested in nightclubs.

I have been in conflict with myself as to take up the offer , the issues have been-

(yes) I should go and enjoy myself
(no) I'm going too far with all of this , past my normal boundary
(yes) I need to advance myself to keep myself interested
(no) I dont know anyone well enough
(yes) I will be able to retire my daughter from photographer , something my wife hates me asking her to do
(no) my family will not approve
(yes) I will make new friends
(no) I feel like I'm on stage

FINAL DECISION - just do it !

Good answer Merinda. Yes, just do it!

You'll know if you want to do it more afterwards, but if you didn't you'd always say "What if I had?"

Hi Merinda,

I hope you do go. :) I live through people on the forum who go out. I also love hearing the stories about what happened when you went out. :)

I wish you the best if you go or not. :)

Hi Merinda,

I am glad to see you made the decision based on what you want, instead of what others want or expect of you. I think that is a correct decision making process. Good luck, I know you are going to have a great time, and look forward to hearing all about it.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Hi Merinda--
You won't have any reason to regret that decision. There will be some heart-pounding moments, I'm sure, but that will happen whether you do it now, or wait. Do it now. Great!

Go for it, Merinda.
You will find the experience most enjoyable. Meeting and talking with others who dress would make for an interesting night.

Hi Merinda,

I think it's one of the greats things about life, we can never say with any surety where we'll be or what we'll be doing at any given point in the future. When we think we've reached the pinnacle there often seems to be just one more mountain to be climbed.

I wish you all the best and if it's the Seahorse Society you're referring to then I'm confident you will have a wonderful time and be made to feel so welcome and comfortable. Look forward to hearing all about it.

Kind Regards, (--)

Sally.

Hi Beauty,

We live about 720 kms or 450 miles apart, if you deal in miles over there.
Merinda is in Melbourne which is the capital city of Victoria, the southern most state on the east side of the mainland and I'm on the coast up in the adjoining state of New South Wales, of which Sydney (where they held the 2000 Olympics) is the capital.

Sheilas, hmmmmm.... straight out of the text book of Aussie slang. Good one cobber, you little bottler. LOL... ..OO..

Kind Regards,

Sally.

Good for you Merinda!!

You will not regret it one bit! You don't know til you experience it how great it is, your only regret will be "why didn't I do this sooner!" I am so looking forward to hearing about it!!

BIG HUGS!
