Hi girls ,

Many years back younger and single my friends would hire a porno' movie from the local video shop and we would watch it with a beer or two.
At the time I found them interesting for about the first ten minutes , there was no storyline just a lot of groaning and grunting and boredom combined with alcohol sent me to sleep.
I dont have an issue against porno's I just find them boring.

Until Sunday

Out at the social gathering as Merinda in a clubroom walkway between two rooms was an alcove area with a big screen television , there was a graphic porn video showing with many men sitting around watching it.
I was totally offended and disgusted by the material , I moved away from that area very quickly .

I didn't realize until I got home and thought about it later that my perception of pornographic material is totally different when I am a girl , I am one person but have two entirely differing views depending on what gender mode I'm in.

Has anyone had a similar experience ?

Can anyone explain this phenomena ?

Or is this another example of me experiencing what GGs go through?

I am not offended by porn myself, it has it's place in the privacy of people's own homes, but I think it would be inappropriate in a public place like the one you describe. I would be more offended that those people who put it on, hadn't considered other's feelings before putting porn on in a public place.

I have found that since I have set Elizabeth free, and came out of the closet, my desire to look at pornography has disappeared. And it happened really fast. Not that it disgusts me, just that I only used it for sexual release. And after coming out of the closet I did not need to have so much release, and I also found that my own imagination is much more stimulating.

I have no explanation for this change, but is sounds like we are experiencing something similar. I have not looked at pornography in a long time. I do wonder if the desire will ever return? Who knows?

Since the place you visited was a bondage/fetish club, it should have been no surprise that porn would be on display.

Your reaction, however, does not appear to be based on how you were dressed. But instead occured while you were dressed. From your beginning remarks, I bet you would have had the same reaction had you been in drag.

Well I'm not normally offended , as I said I dont take an interest because I find there is no storyline and it quickly becomes boring however under normal circumstances I would have had a quick look if the opportunity presented itself.

Maybe there are parts of my female personality that are dormant and activate given the right circumstances.

while this film may not have had a plot and storyline, it might have been more visually compelling than other porno films . . . sort of like looking at art.

If anything, I have the opposite reaction. As a male, at least when I was younger, I tended to puritanism. In femme mode I am much more openminded. Then I can often find redeeming qualities in erotic films. As a female I tend to see the intense erotic pleasure as a good--or at least a very interesting and important dimension of human experience.

This assumes, of course, that the sex is loving and not demeaning or abusive in any way.
