Hi all,
We can't take any credit for our gift. It's what we do with it that determines what our reality will be.
Love Darlene.

For the longest time I sure didn't think my transgenderism was a blessing. If anything I thought I was cursed and I fought mightily against my feminine self but as you girls know I was in a battle I couldn't win. Recently, since I accepted (with the help of this forum)Charlotte as an integral part of my being, my feelings about the blessing part have changed for the better. Maybe this is a gift bestowed on only a few. I'm still trying to make up my mind, but it makes me feel better to believe so.

Charlotte,
Like the old saying,"Go with the flow!" or Nike:"Just Do It!" A lot of us struggled with the fact, but I think that once you decide that it is part of you and it isn't going away, it is a beautiful thing to share. Women are such marvelous creatures and to have the ability to relate and/or emulate them even, in a limited way is the "gift." It is certainly not something to be ashamed of. For this girl it goes beyond the desire to dress, it is an attitude originating from my mind that manifests itself in everything I do.
Good luck with your struggle and I can only hope you will determine what is best for you and accept it.
Love,
Virginia
