Rho Tau, which is the "Tidewater" area of Virginia's crossdressing support group is having a "Fashion Show" and formal dinner this coming week-end in Williamsburg, Virginia. I had planned on going but due to other circumstances and second thoughts I decided that I could not miss my last week-end of training before my Powerlifting meet on the 26th. Anyway, I also found out that Williamsburg is also hosting a regional (ready of this) cheerleading clinic along with the Rho Tau meeting. The most dangerous of two factors come together in the same town!! I have said before that the most dangerous thing we as crossdressers can face when we go out in public dresseed is two of more teenage girls in a "pack." Rho Tau will have to face a whole town full of them!!! All I can say is "Good Luck my sisters!"

Andrea,
Although they will not admit it, teenage girls as seeking a style, Brittiny Spears aside! They are constantly seeking style and presentations that they can adapt. They (being GG's) are honing their ability to critique any and everyone, especially other women. How they dress, look, move, etc. Women have this unique ability to take a mental picture of someone then later on reproduce it in their mind and analyze it top to bottom. Teenage girls do not necessarily save this critique when they are together, they tend to share it immediately and given the indepth review they give others and each other, should "we" just happen to be in their sights, they are very apt to 'read" us on the spot and having little if any tact, learned or not they immediately receive in their minds a "shock value" that having to deal with something that they may have never seen before, but know is not "socially acceptable" they tend to attack this annomily to the "status quo." To a "guy in a dress" presentation they may just embarass the person by laughing at them and move on. Most "guys in a dress" know they don't pass and usually don't care anyway! But for those of us who seriously try to pass and still get read usually by the scrutiny of a teenage girl(s) with no tact it can be a devistating situation, especially in a public place like a mall, because they tend to try and make everyone around them aware of what they have discovered. I really don't think they do it with malice, but because they may not have ever encountered a crossdresser and being immature just do not know how to tactfully, let it go, it you will.
One girl's opinion.

The girls I can just be unpleasant to if need be They are less likely to escalate to physical violence than the teenage boys at least although some of the girls here are tougher than the boys. And of course teenage boys follow the girls around and are as eager to impress the girls as they are each other.
Not an issue since I don't go out but it is something that crept into my mind as a disturbed teenage boy and never completely went away. Actually it is there lurking every time I walk past the alternative high school in mid afternoon when school gets out.
On the other hand think of passing vis a vis a bunch of teenage girls and discovering that you have initiated a trend................
