Stopping CDing I hope with the help of my therapist.
Well Ladies:
I have been talking a lot to my therapist about my issues with my CDing and the anger problems plus a few hundred other problems I have with myself.
I will be around for a time but with the threats I had received I have been afraid to list much on this site. I have been re=negotiating my contract at work and I was asked about it so someone almost destroyed my future here. They had copies of emails that had been forwarded to them from some source not known to me. Wish I knew who.
I will be listing my femme things in a few weeks as I want to make sure I am over it before I do.
My therapist has made me see that the reason for my CDing is that it is part of my internal fight with my father and my rebellion against him. That it is not what you would call a real reason for me dressing en femme around the home.
Sorry for being such a pain to all of you during my time here. It has been very hard for me to write this, I am so close to so many of you. I have been writing and then rewriting and then deleting it because it did not feel write to write it.
Love always and if I can ever do anything for you'all just tell me or send me and email me and I will always help anyone.
Gelinda.

Well Gelinda, there is no reason to cut off contact with your friends.
If your therapist believes the CDing is due to issues with your father, then remaining on this site should not hurt your therapy.
I would suggest you lock your things in storage isntead of selling them, at least the expensive things. But that is up to you. You may think that having access to these things will make you start Cding again, but if you find the need to CD again, thenyou always have access to things on sale at the stores. Thus there is no difference in access, except what is in storage is cheaper to come by
You know, you could always sign up with a different user name, and apply to mail.yahoo.com with the same name for a new email address, if you are still worried about someone here destroying your future.
Stick around Gelinda.

Hi Gelinda--
>>I have been re=negotiating my contract at work and I was asked about it so someone almost destroyed my future here. They had copies of emails that had been forwarded to them from some source not known to me.
Your employers were told about this site? That's what I get from the above statement. What did the emails say? "I think you ought to know an employee of yours is visiting CD sites?" It would seem like this was not an "almost destroyed your future," but that it DID hurt your chances. Or did the employer just say, "We don't care," and ignore the site reference?
I'm sorry to hear that you have reason to think it is someone on this forum that did this to you.
Good luck in whatever path you choose to take, Gelina.

Hi Gelinda,
Your post does not surprise me in the least, it is in line with my understanding of what I have seen written by you in the past.
First for someone from this site to be able to threaten your job it would need to be someone who knows of your true identity.
And second if what you say your therapist has made you see is correct; would it not make sense to work on the issues that (you believe) are the cause of your cross-dressing as opposed to the symptoms?
Things like forgiving your father, for his treatment towards you, and your maker for giving you the kind of father he did.
After all if you can treat the root cause.....(the symptoms).....the dressing..... should take care of itself….No? If your therapist is all that he/she thinks they are then the desire or need to cross-dress should simply disappear, as you take care of (address) the real (the root) problem.
Love Darlene.

Ladies I have much emtion in my heart right now, for the caring messages left above. I am not going to disappear from the site, As you stated Darlene since I have been going to my therpyist I have not had the desire to dress. I am not going to put my en femme stuff away, I am going to leave it right where it is so that it will be a true test of yes or no to the CDing. I can't get over the positive messages from everyone.
The deal with the threats it came from someone wanting my contract, I was not told who. The account knows me and the main man called me into his office and asked me if it was true. I explained it to him and what the therpyist said that I did not go out in public. He did not like what the other side did and they were put out of the RFP process for doing it. I was told that as long it did not get into public notice or hurt the hospital chain. So it worked out in my favor and the main man is the only one that knows. I do not want to change my pin en femme name as it is very important to me in many ways.
You ladies know so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Gee,
I know you have been very conflicted about your crossdressing and I can't say that I am totally suprised to hear this news. I know you have weighed your decision very seriously, knowing you, so I won't ask if you have considered this or considered that.
I wouild just like to say that in all the things I have ever read about crossdressing, I have never heard anyone claim that they could say what causes it. Because of this I am extremely skeptical of any therapist claiming they can tell you why you crossdress.
While I know there are cases of people who have stopped crossdressing, I know the suceess rate is very small, and only when the crossdresser is highly motivated to quit. If this is in fact your desire I wish you all the luck in the world.
I think we have all had times in our lives when we felt our crossdressing was interfering with our lives and decided to quit. Perhaps we even did for a while. There are lots if things I wish I had not tossed because I was not going to crossdress anymore.
Please stay in touch and keep us informed on what you learn. And remember your home here.
Love always,
Elizabeth
