Hi girls ,

Kids come out with the most funniest things

This is what happened on Sunday when I arrived home after our Back-to-school party , I entered the house in full uniform and schoolbag on my back.

I walked in the door to be confronted with my 12 year old son ---

My son said , " what tha???" when he saw me walk in

I said " Hi there!!

My son asked , " did you go to school today ???

As a joke I said , Well !!!! Sarah pulled my hair all day and the teachers gave me a heap of homework

My son asked " did the teachers really give you homework ??

I thought this was an increadable day , my son has totally accepted me as a schoolgirl but confused as to why I have been given homework .

Merinda,

I am so happy for you. I too know the wonderful feeling of being accepted by ones children. I know you must be feeling great. I beleive that being honest with our kids about who and what we really are, is the best way in the long run.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Hi Merinda,

That's so great! I love it!!

On that note my best friend's 14 y.o. nephew knows of Lorna and thinks it's "really cool" in his own words. But I especially love the part of how your son was more flabbergasted over you getting homework!! rotf

Here in the States, there's a place called Rainbow Mountain in the Poconos (just a 2 hour drive from me) whereas once or twice a year, they do weekend retreats for CDs. They include school time, as well as ballet class.

I haven't been since 2001, and I soooooo have to go to the next one! It sounds like you truly had a fun experience. :)

**hugs!**
