Try to return!

Post by Virginia »

Hi Girls,
Guess Beauty will let me post here, if not she can move it to the appropriate place.
Wow! Elizabeth gets married, Donna goes to Vegas! Beauty still looks Beauty- ful!" Couple gets implants - together!
What have I been up to ???? I will be brief:
1. Divorce is still pending, I am awaiting a proposed settlement from her attorney.
2. My first ex-wife died. My daughter, her daughter, took it very well. She was a drug addict and cause of death was probably an OD.
3. Have sold one piece of property and have contract on the other. Don't know what her attorney will be attempting to do with that.
4. Have been out on my boat once. Lake is sooooo crowded, even being a 23' with a 5.7 L, fuel injection it is just too rough and not much fun!
5. Bought me a Honda VTX 1800 - what a bike!!!!! I had a Suzuki 1400 Intruder once and thought it was nice, but it can't touch this Honda - awesome!
6. Attended our local GLBT meeting last night to see if they would allow a crossdresser to attend their "Prom." I stood up and told them I was a straight heterosexual crossdresser and I understood the political implications "between us." I got what I felt was enough support to continue. It is a dinner/ dance at the local Wyndham Hotel. I assured them I would dress appropriately and I would not be "just a guy in a dress." (No offense - please!). My friend Brandi, a pre-op TS will be going with me. I plan to wear an ankle length tight black skirt with a slit to the knee, 3" open-toed heels, and a very frilly, formal white blouse! I intend to be the best looking blonde there!!!!!! Keepin' the faith girls!!!
7. Since I can't not seem to get our local CD "organization" leader to contact me - I have been trying for two months or more, I am going to start injecting "us" into the GLBT organization. Kinda like the proverbial camel putting its nose under the tent. If I don't get my nose slapped they will have the whole camel in the tent! Me! Militant?! Naw not me!!! HA HA!
8. I am planning on going with my friend Brandi when she has her surgery, SRS in November in Miami. Could use 10 days in Miami about then.
9. Did not do a well as I would have liked at the National powerlifting meet in Palms Springs. I blame it on two things, equipment malfunction and the fact that United Air was able to break there existing record of screwing me over. Previous record was turning a three hour flight into three airports and 18 hours. their new record - ready for this: SIX, count 'em SIX airports and 22 hours to get from Roanoke to Palm Springs.
UNbelieveable! How do they do that????? practice, practice, practice!!
I did get credit for coaching a friend of mine to two new world records however, so it was not a complete disaster!
Hope I did not bore you girls, you know the old saying, "Life's a bitch --- then you die!" Well I am still having fun!!!!
Love you all,
Virginia

Hi Virginia,

I am sorry to hear about the death of your first wife. Even when there is a divorce something remains and a death like this is sad anyway.

Welcome back Virginia, missed you.

You be careful on the Honda now. Maybe you should drive to your next meet. Wow, 22 hrs?

We're flying into Dallas in July (In-laws 50th) and looking online, several of the return flights were going through Vegas (not taking them :P ). I thought that was silly, but 6 airports?

So, did your wife start the divorce proceedings, or did you get the ball rolling?

My sympathies to you and your daughter's loss.

Virginia,

Wow, that's quite an update. I just loved it. You know, sometimes we forget that we are all just people with the problems and "stuff" like everyone else. Your update puts all that in perspective.

Thanks for sharing your life with us.

Hi Virginia--
Good to see you back, dear! It is tough to lose an ex, no matter how badly things might have gone. Sorry to hear about the Palm Springs misadventure, too. Six airports is unbelievable--they should have given you an Amtrak coupon after the third one, and sent you on your way.

I still think about getting a bike, and have mixed feelings about it. Another friend in his 50s said, "Yeah, I had a bike in my 20s, but my bones healed faster then. I'm not sure I want to risk dumping a bike at this age." Makes me pause--being a newbie rider at 54 is not the best thing. It might be one of those things I let pass in this lifetime.

Thanks for the welcome - Life is so exciting = who needs drugs when reality is so much fun!
Raven: A Ninja?? From what I heard about those if you come down on the throttle to hard your teeth tend to bunch up in your mouth :) :) :) . This VTX 1800 is soooo smooth - how smooth is it? Well I can be sitting at a traffic light , look in hte rear view mirror and actually read the license plate on the car behind me, now for any bike that is smooth.
As for my divorce???? Her attorney sent me a letter requesting a bunch of numbers which I sent to him and he said he would be back in touch with a settlement request - ?"shortly?" That is attorney talk for "bend over and grab your ankles!" You girls know me -"Bring it on. big boy!" I am still waiting to hear from him. My "wife" has spent two weeks at the beach and the last three or four days in Gatlinburg. Where she is getting the money beats me.
Anyway I don't mean to bore you with my saga, so keep the faith and I love you all!
