I have a beautiful freind of mine at work. Her names Colleen, shes 41 and has been a trustworthy mate for 10 years. Throughout the years Col and I have gotten pretty close (not sexually), and we are'nt afraid to show our affections with each other. She has a man and I'm happy for her, and proud too.
This is not a problem, but I'm wondering how to go about things here. Colleen and I hug and kiss alot, we just connect. Sometimes she comes up to me and kisses me or I come up and kiss her. There is no wall between us. The reason we are like this is that she knows I'm safe and would never put the hard word on her, and I never would. The thing is though, if I were a woman, would she do the same thing. I am the only one at work who she hugs or kisses, I dont know if its trust or honesty or not. Its just strange how its evolved over the years.
I have'nt told her about my CDing or being bi-sexual but I hjave a feeling she can see through me, and thats why we are close. I do have a strong feminine side and I'm not afraid to show it with women. My question is, should I sit down and tell this lady or just leave it. I have a feeling I should do it, just to be fair. This might explain why I only have female freinds.

Sheena, she may see the fem side and think you are possibly gay, or she may just think of you as a very close friend, almost like brother and sister. and either way, she's comfortable with the husgs and kisses.

Your closeness sounds like it could stand firm once you reveal you CDing to her.

But if you are worried, then before telling her, mention that you know someone who is a crossdresser, and ask her her thoughts about crossdressers.

This is basically the same advice I would have given. I wouldn't have said the last sentence, but that's because I'm not as smart as Donna. That's a great way to find out if someone is like, "WHAT?"

It's the way I came out to my best friend (the first person I ever told) when I was 20 years old. When she didn't freak out about it I told her the person was me.
