I'm back

Post by SharonRose »

Hi everyone,

I know I haven't posted in a while, but it has been a busy couple of months.

In April I ran in the Boston Marathon. I have run several marathons in the past and time-qualified for Boston this past fall.

In May I got married, and also graduated from law school (for the second time, with a Masters of Law in Taxation). After the graduation, my wife and I went on a three week honeymoon in New Zealand and Tahiti.

I'd like to thank everyone who has posted comments in my photo gallery. It means alot to me.

Now that things are settling down, I'm looking forward to getting out and about more en femme. I didn't dress at all on my honeymoon. However, in Tahiti I noticed several locals who were TG or TS. Our tour guide said it is quite common there and seemed to accept it as a good thing.

My local support group, TGEA, has a book club and I was able to attend the book club meeting last week. We read "Trans Sister Radio" which was very interesting.

Hey girl, I think you need to, as they say, "get a life." Does not appear that you have much going on    .Seriously, we are all so proud of you and your accomplishments. Evidently your wife accepts Sharon Rose which is so nice also. I would love to get all you Northern Virginia gals together and hope that a Roanoker would be invited, you, Donna, Beauty, you could probably take over the world -- which come to think of it would not be such a bad idea!!
Glad you are back with us!
Love,
Virginia

Welcome back Sharon. I was wondering where you were just this morning.

Congratulations, again, on your marriage.

Sounded like a nice honeymoon. Hopefully my wife and I will get ours in this year

Congrats on entering the Boston Marathon, wow. How'ed you do?

Hi Sharon--
Whew, what a full plate you've had! A second law degree--well, might be easier the second time around--you already know what to expect. Still, you had to work hard to get that, I'm sure! Congratulations on your marriage, hon.

Hi Sharon,
..o)..
OMG I've missed you so much! :) I know we were supposed to talk on the phone, but I just felt that you had so much stuff going on that I could wait until things settled down a bit. :) I'm glad they have. Expect your phone to ring. :)

I'm so proud of you!!! Congrats on your very busy year and thank you for not forgetting about us and who you are. I think you're so wonderful!!!!

You're the only TG'd person I've ever actually hung out with and I have to tell you are also one of the most caring and wonderful people I've ever had the fortune to meet. For those who don't know, I met Sharon Rose at a support meeting. When I'd walk in after we met I wouldn't be comfy until I'd see her. I'd just shy up and say nothing until I saw her and then I'd cling to her like Linus clings to his blanket. :) To say I love her is an understatement. Anyone who knows Sharon loves her. :) Especially her wonderful bride!

It's so great to have you back with us. :) The newbies will really be thrilled when they see how much you add to our favorite gathering place.

Donna,

I finished the Boston Marathon in under four hours, something like 6,000 out of 14,000 runners.

Hi Sharonrose,

Welcome back!!!!!!!

Congradulations on your wedding, your marathon, and graduating law school. Any single one of those would be a great thing, but all of them are a testament to your resolve and determination.

Well done.

Love always,
Elizabeth
