A New Life

Hiya Girls,
Just thought I would share some good news with you all. As some of you are aware, my wife and I seperated (permanently) in January, and life was a little down for a while. Yeah sure once I had my own place I was able to dress more and be free in my life. But something was missing, and that was the love of another. Well how life changes at the most unexpected time.
I am now in a new relationship with a beautiful woman (GG), who not only accepts this lifestyle unconditionally but is very proactive in her support of me, and others. She has even joined this site! Our finding each other has restored my faith in love, happiness and a truer freedom.
So for those Girls out there in CD land that think there is no-one out there for them.....guess again.
Being me is being free.
Big hugs

Hi Hayley,
~
Wonderful to hear your good news

- well it's been about a week now since I returned after a long while away, and since you brought up the subject,
*My* good news is that I've been away from any type of substance abuse for over 3 years, and all other medications for almost 1 1/2 years - I did a real life experience gig within the last year, got back to work, and now do volunteer work with the 'structurally vulnerable' ...
You are quite correct, "Being me is being free" !!!

That's great news for you! With the support of your new lady, I'm sure your life will seem much more complete. Glad to hear she had joined this forum also and look forward to her participation if/when she feels comfortable.

Thanks Girls,
Marda,
It is great to hear your road to recovery is very positive and that you are getting out there and making life changes under your own steam, as opposed to others providing the motivation.
Donna and Steph,
Thank you for your wishes, and I dare say C will get on the forum soon enough.

Hayley,
I am sooooo happy for you!!! I think a lot of us would love to hear what, dare I say, gave her the inspiration, to accept crossdressing?

WE, CD'ers, are always seeking the rhyme and reason behind what we see is a beautiful part of us and that others don't see it that way. When we come across someone open-minded enough to a least seek to understand it is quite interesting!
Congrats, honey!

Hi Hayley--
That is very good news to hear. You and Elizabeth can give others on here the knowledge that it can and does happen.

Haley,
So good to see you here again. It would seem we have both had a similar experience. I too got divorced and subsquently found Raven(SO) who is totally accepting and would have me no other way. We married last May. Anyway, I look forward to seeing future posts by you. Welcome back.
Love always,
Elizabeth

Hi Hayley,
first - congratualtions to you both.
I am in quite a similar situation since a few months. I moved to my new girlfriend (GG) a few weeks ago. Even in general my CDing was not the cause for leaving my wife and kids (my wife was accepting and somehow supporting), but I can now express my feminity much more in this new relationship. She is not only supporting CDing, but also encouraging me to express both parts of my personality. She loves me as male and as female person, so she loves my personality in all flavours and with all the diversity.
But I also have to mention, that it is really hard for me, to leave my kids. I miss them very much. This is the hardest part of being separated from my former family. Anyway I can't neglect my feelings and my love towards my girlfriend.
