Valentine's Day weekend

Hello everyone,

I just got back from the holiday weekend. My girlfriend and I spent a romantic weekend in the mountains. We staying in a bed and breakfast, and had a romantic 5 course Valentine's Day dinner at a winery. There was live music, and the each course had a different wine paired with it. She was very surprised and impressed (I had made the plans and kept them a secret from her).

When we got back to our room it was her turn to surprise me. She gave me a gift basket containing chocolate, massage oil, scented candles, wine glasses, dessert wine, one of my favorite movies, and a book.

We also went hiking and sightseeing. And talked alot. I talked to her more about my crossdressing. Recently I gave her the book "My husband wears my clothes" by Peggy Rudd." She read the book and I decided to ask her about it. She said it was very informative. Her biggest question seemed to be about having a femme name. She could not understand if I was the same person while dressed why I would need another name. I told her it makes sense when you are out and about to have a femme name, and also to maintain your privacy. She said she is still working on this but it seems she has found a deeper understanding, and acceptance.

When we got back to my place I showed her my femme wardrobe. She helped me discard a few items that didn't fit, or weren't right for me (I donated them to the Salvation Army). She was quite taken with some black mid-calf high heel boots :-)

I showed her my MAC makeup, and she said I probably spent more on that than I would on guy stuff. She said its nicer even than her own makeup. At the end I showed her my perfume (Amarige) and she sprayed some on herself. I never realized how fragrant my perfume is until I could smell it on someone else :-)

The next step is for my girlfriend to see me fully dressed (she's now seen pictures and my clothing). We plan on doing that sometime in the next few weeks. I'll let you know how that goes.

Way cool time you had there, Sharon Rose! 8) Good for you. Good for you both! I love the way you seem to be pacing yourself, taking the time your sweetie needs to process this. Walk on, girl.

Love,
CJ

Julie,

Thanks.

No, my name is not derived from Rose of Sharon. I am not familiar with that reference.

Rose was my grandmother's maiden surname, and Sharon was the name of my first girlfriend.

Sharon.
