I don't recall ever being in fem mode in my dreams, however, I have been in some of my wife's dreams.

Sometimes I am femme, sometimes I am male. The most common one I have is of being barred from getting on a train because I am in the wrong uniform.
I have always taken that to mean that I would not be accepted en femme.
I seem to recall I always feel female in that dream.

I don't always remember my dreams...
Q1: Yes, both, either/or, depends... In my dreams I've been accepted as a crossdresser, and also ostracized or physically attacked as a crossdresser. I've also forgotten to get dressed (i.e. still naked) in my dreams (I hear this is common), but never been attacked for having forgotten to get dressed, only laughed at.
The last dream I remember involved me in male mode, with my wife, who was detained by Amtrak security and interrogated for having written a check for our tickets which had an image/sillouette of Paul Revere in the background, which TSA interpreted as "threatening".
Q2: N/A
Hugs,
Bernice

Hi Penni. I am on course for SRS in less than a year. Over the years, I have been an observer of no obvious gender a lot, but not an actor in a dream, sort of divorced from it like watching a movie. In those that I am a part of , I am female about 80% of the time. When I am dressed male I am usually young and unhappy, though I had a few that I am told I awoke laughing from before puberty. I had nightmares I have little memory of when I was young, but learned to program my dreams to change them when I had them. I have had problem solving dreams, when I was looking for something and dreamed where it was--and upon waking, it was there. I have dreamed solutions to work problems. When I dreamed work problem solutions, I was generally male.
One of my more recent ---and disturbing dreams--- came in my second week of full time. It had me at a side show at a "Free Fair" at the town I used to live in as a kid that I went to every year, and I dreamed the side show had a "half woman/half man" named Diane as one attraction, and the dream was dreadfully complete, right down to the town Dr. at the time who was to verify her status inside. She was kinda tall or had tall heels, and made up, in a dress and her hair piled up on top of her head, and her eyebrows I thought looked drawn on like my Aunt Marie's. It was no kids allowed, but I had to know and slipped in at the back of the crowd after the "show" started. She was doing some little strip tease in lights to a record player prior to being examined by the Dr., but I couldn't see her because of the adults. I heard the doc announce she had the body parts of a man and a woman, and I was noticed and run out by one of the side show guys, and I wandered around outside. Noticed a line of men at a small tent behind the side show tent, and was curious. "Diane" came out of the big tent and was walking toward the little one and the men were grinning nervously. I just had to talk to her in the dream, and ran up and asked her "Can't they fix us? Why can't they fix us?" and was half crying. She looked at me from brown eyes with tears and said she .."couldn't even fix herself. We just had to do the best we could". And walked toward the line of men and the tent, and told them to "give her a minute boy's".
And then I woke up crying and my pillow was wet, and I guess I had been crying for awhile. And I realized what she was going in the tent to do. I cried for quite awhile, I felt soooo bad for her, and I guess for me too. And I am crying again as I write this.
The worst part is I don't know if it is the memory it feels like, all a dream, or a mix of a dream and a real memory. I only know it has made me feel bad that in the past, it may have been as a side show freak and prostitue was the only way some intersexed people had to survive.

Most of my dreams have nothing to do with CDing and I am always a guy. Although like many I don't remember most of my dreams-we dream every night regardless of if we remember them.
I don't remember any dreams where I was a woman or girl.
Sometimes I have dreams about CDing. The last one I was dressed en femme at a party with friends. They were all very accepting but I was uncomfortable. The feeling was that I was not being genuine with them since I am really a guy and the party was not a CDing event. I felt I learned a lot from the dream.

That's a good point. I don't know, which mode I am in my SOs dreams - but I guess both, depending of the plot. At least in her fantasy and also in her experience, she sees me in one of both "modes".
Also - me, too - in general I can't remember my dreams.

I've had many dreams where I'm dressed or dressing. I do recall a couple where GG friends are supportive and offered me clothes to try on.
That's about it though. Don't remember the context of the dream, but I guess I never really read that much into them.
I do have alot of premanitions (sp) and deja vu from dreams. That's always weird.

Due to a change in medication (nothing serious) I haven't been sleeping soundly lately and I find that I am dreaming more. I don't usually recall my dreams much, but in the past ten day I had two dreams in which my CD boyfriend had a prominent role. Neither dream was complex or spicy--in one I walked into an office at work in Public Works (so it was a blue collar, informal sort of place.) There was my CD in full en femme, chatting up one of the workmen. Then she moved on to talk with some other fellows as she left the room. She didn't see me and my only thought was, "Wow, she looks great. Why can't I have legs like that?" I recall noticing that she had on a wig unlike any that she has ever worn.
In the second dream, she was also dressed and with great pride was showing me her rebuilt bathroom--I didn't have the heart to point out that the bidet was installed sideways. I should add that I have not ever dreamt of her as a guy.

Well, seems that's no longer true. This morning I did dream I was enfemme, woke, went back to sleep and continued the dream. Shame I can't remeber it all.

Carolynn.....On TLC they had a history of the Side Show. Side Shows like you discribed in your dream were everywhere until the late 50's. From that time they have almost cease to exist now adays. There are a few left. On thing I found out on the TLC program was the people (Freaks) were mostly happy and most made very good money too. They refered to themselves as Freaks. Television, Internet, New medical procedures, and Political Correctness has kill the Side Show. For many years if a person was born Intersex, ( used to be called hermorthidyes (sp) ), they were considered freaks. Most were given SRS after birth and grew up as females. Today they no longer do that at birth.

In my dreams I am mostly male but have interaction with understanding females who assist me with feminization, etc. I should also point out that there is usually a physical aspect to the dreams as well but always with a GG
