I can not begin to tell everyone how some of these post upset me as I have been there and done that. I never did tell my story and I am to ashame to do so but I cry some times when i read them. No Carol Ann is not perfect but I do remember things in my pass that to this day unset me and I cry and feel for young people going through what I went through and the things they have to deal with. Where was this forum in the 50'th when I was lost???
Sorry but a late post just set me off and now I have to deal with my wife as she and she alone knows. I'm sorry but it's time to cry, Sorry please forgive me for this post but I just needed to vent a little.

This forum and all of us are here for you. And it is ok to get emotional and to vent at times. We all do and what a better place to do it than at a support forum. And I agree with you, where was this forum when we were younger. But we all made it through and are here now.

I also get emotional when I read posts. Some times it is because i can remember myself in the same place, and other times I thank God that what I was reading was not my life and pray for the poster.

This forum gives us all an extended family that can understand where we are at and may be going, and are here for us.

So for you Carol Ann a group hug.

Hey Carol-Ann, the girls are right. Vent at will. So true is your statement about needing this kind of support when you were younger. Today's youth really do have advantages that just weren't there when we needed them. I know how difficult it was. Many of us do.

The good thing is, that the support is in place now!

So vent, rant, or share whatever you'd like. We're here for you.
Hugs and love,
Kyra

Hi Carol Ann--
I understand on both counts. It is hard to read some of these posts, and it is also hard knowing what we went through when we didn't have the information and experience we have now.

Sometimes I resist seeing new solution to a an old problem, and the reason why is because I know I'll have to feel a lot of pain and regret over not seeing back THEN. It sounded like you may have been talking about that feeling; I don't know for sure. But, yeah, venting has to happen sometimes.
