Things at work have been ugly for some time. With a contract renewal coming up and bad vibes coming from corporate, stress has been high lately. So in my usual blonde way, I decided to relieve the stress by adding more stress to my life - I decided to out myself to some co-workers and see what happened.

This weekend I hosted a small soiree at my place. Just several friends from work (almost all women). Now you must know I have a number of wigs on stands lining the top of my dresser and mirror. Not being the subtle type, I decided to let them stay out and see if they would draw any comment.

But of course, only a couple of them made mention of it.

Today after work, they pulled me over in a small group and gave me the interrogation I had been expecting. After I confirmed their suspicions, poof! It was over. They told me it was no big deal to them, and don't let it bother me.

Cool!

Now the bad news... they all want to take me shopping with them!

I just don't know where I'll find the time...

Sometimes you roll the dice and they roll your way! And to answer the inevitable question - no, I am not afraid they will out me to others (one reason I chose this group).

Oh, and not a one seemed to notice I had not a stitch of male clothes on me today! Do you think I should be bummed about that?

I went into work today all in drab (except for underwear - I almost never wear guy underwear anymore), and things were as normal as ever. No one treated me any different, so I think things are really as advertised.

I am going out this weekend with a couple of the girls from work. We are going shopping, do lunch, art gallery, etc. I'll be sure to let you know what happens.
