Summer Time Blues

Post by Carol Ann »

Ya I know it's only spring time for some of us but. Yesterday the grandchildren came home for school and were cheering and yelling and just being teenagers :?

Well the point was they get out of school May 15 and of course they are happy. Now of all people my wife has this grin on her face a dummy could read, so I said WHAT.

She said " I guess I'll have a man around the house all summer", oh I am heart broken. Now I know I have it a HE** of a lot better then a lot of my sisters but having to go with out dressing #-o

I told the wife maybe there is a camp we could sent them to and her words " no way".

So I guess I have been told, my heart is crushed and I got the summer time blues already. !!arg!!

That's a little rough, Carol, when you're used to daily dressing. This is an unusual situation, for sure. Maybe your wife does need a break--kinda sounds like that, doesn't it? I'm hoping it's not going to be a pressure cooker for YOU, though. Do you own a little hunting cabin in the Big Woods that's 50 miles away, where you can go off by yourself?

I think "the talk" is not gonna happen at your home, but, don't give up yet!
Maybe some of there friends will invite them to take a trip or two with them, or they can go off to the lake or a hike once in a while. There are always ways! I always say, it is like a chess game! As long as you have a move and are not in checkmate, the game ain't over!

How true that is! I look for those moments when I can get time to myself at home all the time.

Before my daughter came back living with us, I dressed every morning.
Now it is once or twice a week. I am dressed right now, but i know I've only got a short time before I have to change back.. Today was a short one, but I still managed to put on makeup, which is something I don't do often because of time constraints.

Don't worry my friends, as the grandaughter is going home for the summer and I believe my oldest son wants my grandson to come visit him for a while so all will work out.

Anita:
I am strong ( airborne steel) :P , no I can back down if I have to but the truth is I will not be a happy camper.

As far as fishing goes don't even try to get away with out the SO as she is a better fisher person then I.

I tryed once being slick and she was waiting in the truck that early morning saying "going fishing ARE WE". #-o

It's too hot in the summer to get dressed up anyway.....enjoy the summer and enjoy looking forward to the fall.

Hopefully you'll find a few times to get dressed anyway this summer.

I have to take a break in the summer. I have to grow my body hair back and I really dislike dressing when I'm hairy. Also I just get sooo hot under my wig and make up. I run warm anyway so I can take the cold, but overheat easily.

Is this common of a CD not to dress in the summer?
The only thing I think I will be a bit wary about is my shaved legs. I am getting through that, heck my son and daughter know now anyway. I just never thought about the summer time but is is quickly approaching.

I hope I can still dress, at least in the house during the day (air conditioned).
I'm having the time of my life and I hate to have to put it on hold for months at at time.

Carol Ann,

It will all work out. I must commend you for carng for your grandchildren when it is your retirement time. You are a very caring and loving woman!

By the Way Elayne shaves her legs, arms, and chest year round with not a second look. It is "in" with the whole metro-sexual thing. I have dated men before that shaved their chests as it made their muscles more defined.

Hi girls
I just have to say one thing. Why is it always that it's us that have to make everyone around us happy at our expense?
For me the best thing that ever happened in my life was Mini moving out after 25 years. I can be myself and everyone who comes to my home knows what to expect or they don't come over. All my kids and they're friends know me and don't even bat an eye. The college age kids are wonderful. They all have GLBT groups on campus. Am I selfish for wanting to live my life as the person I was born? Everyone else gets to do it. It's my turn.55 years was enough for me.
Women will stay with men who are verbally abusive, physically abusive, not responsible and are cheaters and we ladies are made to feel like low life our whole lives. No wonder there is so much low self esteem, drug addiction, alcohol abuse and suicide in our community. When you are told you are a pervert and no good your whole life you end up believing it.

Looking on this forum I see, smart, responsible, articulate and good people. What more do you want in a partner in life? Is that not enough? Life is not perfect nor are any of us. That's life. I'm on a roll right now and I have to put in my theme song. I've posted it before . It's from Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Realy listen to the lyrics.Maybe some out there who can't understand us will get an idea of how some of us feel inside.
In this song Hedwig the woman and Hansel the boy are singing about they're lives together. It's beautiful ballad and says it better than I could ever say. I still feel this way till this day.

Wicked Little Town

Forgive for I did not know
For I was just a boy
And you were so much more

Any God could ever plan
More than a woman or a man
And now I understand
How much I took from you

And when everything starts breaking down
You take the pieces off the ground
Show this wicked town
Something beautiful and new

You think that luck has left you there
And maybe there's nothing up in the sky but air

And there's no mystical design
No cosmic lover preassigned
Nothing you can find
That can not be found

And with all the changes you've been through
It seems the strangers always you
Alone again in some new
Wicked little town

And when you've got no other choice
You know you can follow my voice
Through the dark turns and noise
Of this wicked little town
It's a wicked little town
Goodbye wicked.... little town

I speak with ladies like me on here and My Space from all over the world and unfortunately most of us whether we live in Connecticut,London,Paris, Germany or anywhere else in the world we all have one thing in common. We all live in a wicked little town. Our wicked little town. To all you people who can't undestand, you have no idea how it feels. Trust me. I know all too well. I just got to the point where I had to live my life and those who can't understand and never will I politely show them the way out. But that's just me.If that's being selfish I'm guilty as charged.

Love
Jeannie

PS I like to be positive and joke around and post crazy pictures and I know some people get upset. Consider yourself lucky. You don't want to see me post when I'm on the Darkside and once in a while I go there. I'm close tonight. It's not a pretty sight. I make Darth Vader look like a Girlscout and got thrown off another forum by a moderator who was a man in a dress who posted something I disagreed with in a civil way. He said I can't do that and if I have any thing to say do it in a pm. If you open the door Jeannie will run right through. He made a big mistake . Not only did I tell him what I thought of his advice but also gave him a few fashion tips.. I ended with this ladies" If I ever want to build myself a new as----- tell your parents to send me the blueprints. Have a great day Hon.I can't wait for you're response. The next message will make this look like a f------ love letter you skanky little man" Was I too hard on him? I think not. I couldn't wait for a response but he didn't have the guts to do it and banned me. It was worth it! I know Gary loved it. He was jerk.

Jeannie, Jeannie, Jeannie -God, I love you!!!!! You are a true jewel! However, I may not be smart, responsible or articulate, but I are good people and damn ---- I am perfect!!! Well I am also, as Dirty Harry says, "... a legend in my own mind!"

But seriously, you are right we have to -----Mama Cass----- "make your own kinda music!" or "you gotta walk that lonesome valley, you got to walk it by yourself - ain't nobody gonna walk it for you!" and as Virginia says, you just may have to "dress to the nine's" stand in front of that full length mirror, look at that woman looking back at you and ask yourself -"What's she worth and what am I willing to give up for her?"

I done it and I would not change it for the world.
Go forth Woman ---------- and BE!!!!

Love,
Virginia

Hold em'or fold em'

Post by Jeannie »

Hi girls
We are all dealt a hand in life. You can play or fold. I always folded and you won't lose but you won't ever win. I'm in the game now and go with the flow. Sometimes it's smooth sailing other times you get caught in the rapids. That's life.
I just took my Aunt Pearl to a doctors appointment. It's Mexican day at her assisted living and she also goes with the flow. You can tell we're related. She's just not right. I'll put in a picture. She went to the doctors appointment like that! She's a pisser Virginia. You'd love her. Hugs.

Love
Jeannie

PS. The best old adage ladies is"Nothing ventured nothing gained" It makes sense. It's nice here in CT today. I'll be wearing very little. I hope there's not a substitute UPS man today. He'll get out of here faster than a tranny at a KKK rally. Enjoy your weekend while I work my padded panties off again!....... "Don't cry for me Argentina." Ok Ok! I can't sing. Give me a break. I'm not Patti Lupon you know!
