Tonight I went out dressed as Jennifer! A good friend who has known about me for awhile took me out for a drive. We went to a town 50 miles away for coffee.I never got out of her car ,but as I was getting into it a man walked right by me and never looked twice.I followed everyones good advice ,I kept my head up and just got into the car.It was a small step but a really good one.I can now build on this.I really appreciate everyones support, without it I would not have done this @@9@@

We are proud of you as you can see --- another ambassador hits the streets, so to speak!!

Don't be afraid, I think a lot of us have visions of the scene from Frankenstein where the mob attacks with pitch forks and torches -- ain't gonna happen!

As you can see, it's one step at a time and you will open up a new world for some of our sisters who may also be tentative about going out. See, you have already made a difference.

Love ya.

Virginia

congrats!!

Bravo Jennifer! =D> It does get easier. I remember my first time I had to get gas. I had to step out of the car. I wanted to go to a large store (Meijer) and just wanted to walk up the parking lot and back to the car. I chickened out. A few times later, heck I order dinners by myself in restaurants!

It is so much fun and as your confidence grows, you'll notice nobody pays attention.

Congrats!

:) Hi ya Jennifer,

I am so very proud of you and happy for you.
It is a scary concept to step out of our comfort zone, but once it is done the adrenalin kicks in and we wonder why it took us so long to step out of the comfort zone.
