My changing opinion of Xmas

In recent years I have not been the greatest fan of Xmas or the festive season, for number of mostly family related reasons, but this year is bit different.
My kids are settled and being on my own now and able to dress is great , but even better is I have been able to shop for clothes ( in drab), at this time) with some leisure under pretext that it’s a gift.
I have just bought my first matching bra and knickers and spent some 10 minutes looking and deciding, it was fantastic, I have since bought a few more items that may under other circumstances may have been embarrassing.
I’m still hopeful of being able to go out en femme on my birthday in July and maybe in the future, shopping en femme and taking the time to really look and decide and get the clothes I really want, rather than the snatch , grab and hurriedly pay as I have done up till now.

Can I also say thanks for all the kind comments made on my postings and photos, it very much appreciated as at this end of the planet, I sometimes feel very alone, as I have not told anyone about my CD ing or have anyone to talk one to one with about it and the comments help my confidence no end.
And for me there has been one huge revelation in how my look has improved in the couple of months of dressing, thanks to advice and comments, seeing the b4 and after pics has hit home that my outside is starting to match up with how I feel inside, so thanks again for your kind words.

Yvonne

Yes, Xmas is a good time to take your time to shop.

But you know what, it's someone's birthday every day. So pick any day to shop for "someone's" birthday ;)

Have you not found a social support group in your area, or a venue other gals like us hang out in?

Hi, Yvonne -

There is a CD support group in Western Australia, and they have a forum, also; some of their members belong to our Forum, and vice versa:

Chameleon Society

I am not sure where in "South Australia" you are, but I believe the Chameleon Society is based in or near Perth, Western Australia.

Hope this helps . . . and I wish you continued success on your weight loss - - you're looking fantastic!!

*Hugs*

Thanks
I have tried the local support group, I had a reply from their President, some weeks back, but have had no contact from the Membership secretary yet, I'll try emailing again in the new year.

Thanks for the advice on the Chameleon Club, I did look at there site and and got some valuable tips from there.
But Perth is a bit far away, Perth is 2000 miles west of me, Melbourne is just down the road about 500 miles, I will be going next year as there is a make over service there and I really want to have a profesional makeover, not just for the experience but I think I could learn so much in the 2 or 3 hours there by observing and asking questions.

Thanks Silver lady for putting us forward.
