Thankyou Jennifer M,
Thankyou for your lovely reply.
I have watched you over the months with your posts, and I am hopeing that 2008 brings you joy and happiness, you deserve that , never stop believing in yourself my friend.Everyone here needs to find their wholeness where they can honestly give themselves freely and this can only be done when you accept and believe in yourself. If you spend most of your emotional time worrying or fearing you will never truely live or love.
All of you are different to what society has said is the norm, but you know different, your heart beats the same, you work hard, you cry,you smile you laugh, you give ,you take, you breath in and out...I guess to me your all very normal...

Hi ya Sylvia,
No title for this little lady thankyou.
I guess I just want people to stop thinking they are not worthy of happiness or literally a happy life.
I have seen people literally want to take their life for they see no way in the future of being accepted.I have seen people punish themselves countless times over, just because they are of difference.
We have created a world where people have to fight for what is their god given right...a right to be free,a right to the good, the world can offer.
We as human beings are so busy pointing our fingers at people of minority, society has put them into boxes and said here this is where you belong what comes to you is all you deserve.I have seen people trying to bend themselves backwards and inside out just to prove they are normal...at sometime this has to stop.
Everyone of you here has a special meaning and place in this world...as long as you are causing no physical or emotional harm to anyone, then you have the right to be you............
There are literally millions of CD's,TS's M2 F an dF2 M all over the world, who keep quiet who are decaying inside to scared to show their true selves. They are literally painting pictures that really are'nt them for their families to beleive in...why becuase to come out is a huge risk..for we the society has created an environment where by if you are not appearing as normal then you must be a freak or evil.
I am tired of that attitude and I will continue to encourage you all to love yourself first,to be true to yourself.
I have learn't so much from my partner,I have wanted to chuck it all in,I have yelled, cried you name it...but I keep coming back to the same answer,I love this person why fix something that is'nt broken.Sure we have times when the communication channels have broken down, but that can be fixed...it can only be fixed by speaking the truth and believing in each other.
Hugs Penny

I wish you and all of Oz a very Merry Christmas. You said "All of you are different to what society has said is the norm", and that can be true. But I like to think that we (and other tolerant,open-minded people) are the norm. Thinking that bigotry, violence, and wearing blinders is normal, well, thats depressing. Theres a whole world out there, and no one has to fit into a peg. Its getting better, it really is, but we have a ways to go (humans, not just GLBT). You are such a great asset to our community down there, I love you (whoops, can't let my SO see that).
As far as girls in the closet, well, we all know the many different situations involved there....but they are part of us and most of us have been there also. Getting out, meeting others is truly a liberating experience, but alas, not everyone can. All I can say is that this forum (and yours) can provide so much for so many...and once someone is ready to take that huge first step, there are groups and wonderful support available. Its a big step, but well worth it. Gosh darn, I went rambling on again when all I wanted to say was Merry Christamas and thank you for being Penni!!!!!!!!
Hugs
