Tyra Bank's Show on Transgender

Tyra had a show today on Transgender folk. I went to her website and as would be expected the "wack-o's" were out en mass. That we are all going to hell or are insane and need to be locked up, etc. We all know the drill!

Anyway the show was at best, in my opinion, somewhat superficial, but in good taste and we did get good exposure. It was in no way condescending either. So with MSNBC's two hour, repeat expo. on Transgendered folk, over Christmas and the only reason I assume that these shows are repeated is they get high ratings, we are getting exposure for the cause.

We will probably never get through to the religous zealots out there, but close minded, uneducated, tunnel vision exists in virtually all aspects of life.

Not only is it the right thing to do, it sets a good example, it's kind and courteous, and mostly, it just absolutely confounds and frustrates the most arrogant of those narrow-minded bigots.
