Free Clothes

Post by Ms. Jill »

Yesterday (Mar 30) I was perusing craigslist and came across a local ad under the free catagory which said Four bags of Women's Clothes would be left next to the street. When I checked the address, I saw it was only 11 miles from my home, so I dropped what I was doing, hopped in my car, and made a beeline to the address. When I got there all four bags were still there, so I loaded them in the car and drove back home.

I opened the bags and sorted through them and found the majority of items were either small or medium, but there were many that were large or xl that I knew wloud fit me. I got 64 items of clothing including jeans, shorts, tops, sweaters, and lingerie. I also got four purses, belts, and a pair of sneakers. I have been in a pink fog since yesterday. I don't know who the person was who left the clothes there for the taking But I know she has good taste and style.

I intend to give the rest of the clothes to either Goodwill or perhaps a women's shelter so that others can make good use of them. Now my next project will be trying to find room in my closet for all my new free clothes.

Luv and Hugs, Jill

Quite a lucky haul there Jill. Probably some poor soul's purge. At least they went to a good cause. :)
