(I am the ghost behind the door )
A princess, "moonlighting" as a ghost? Any union benefits?

I looked up "trick or treat" in Wikipedia. It says what I thought it would say--that children solicting candy from homeowners on Halloween are basically saying, "Give us candy, or we'll play a trick on you."

But...shouldn't it be "treat or trick?" Basically, the option to give the candy is the first choice, and only if that is declined does the second option [doing tricks or pranks] come up.

Or maybe in the really old times the children were asking the homeowner to either 1) do a trick for them, or 2) give them a treat.

And with that bit of pseudo-scholarship done, I will say:

TREAT!

M&M packs, or baby candy bars?

(We're talking about premium treats here, no candy corn.)
