Well, I am new around here and wanted to share my love for beauty salons and their services. Firstly I would describe myself as being able to blend, rather than pass. With that as my guide I enjoy going out, but lack a bit of confidence for places with many people (IE. malls, restaurants..). What I found early on, when I was really not able to do my own makeup, was the large number of regular salons that eagerly welcomed me. I went to many for make up and had many great visits. I added nail services and even routinely get my human hair wig styled, usually a rollerset, while it is on my head. A drawback of getting Ok with makeup is now i feel like I can do it myself and save some $$ so I don't indiulge in those treats very often.
Just wondering if there are others like me? What are your fav services? How are you received by other clients? Thanks for your replies, SaraS

I go to my Nail Salon as JoAnn now. When I switch over, the Techs were all wonderful about me coming in en fem. I am treated just like any other GG that comes in and not once have they got my name wrong. LOL
