We lucked out, and the heavier snow was East of us.
I took a dust mop and dusted off the cars twice last night. The wind is quite hard this morning, so the roads dried pretty quick, making it an easy commute to work.
perplexed by the weather?

According to the calendar, winter lasts until March 21st for everyone in the Northern Hemisphere
. . . but I know it may feel longer than that in some areas (it certainly did for us last year)!

Here's hoping we don't have to utilize our snow shovels/plows this winter season.
Liquid sunshine, anyone?!?

So all that snow that we had here in northern Wisconsin is pretty much gone now. We had rain (imagine that, rain in December????) that melted most of it. That ruined the snowmobile trails, getting out on the lakes to go fishing is nearly impossible, so there's not much else to do but drink. Fortunately we're good at that up here.
On the other hand, it will make it a lot easier to get firewood into the basement, without the snow.
