Might be dead!
Decided to just go out on back porch and take a couple pix today. Saw no cars, only the boat of my neighbors in their drive, so out I go. Put the camera on self-timer, and on the third shot don't I catch my neighbors ex getting into her dark car behind the boat!! No words spoken, don't really know if she noticed, still leaves on the trees, she was moving things out while hubby gone, and I was wearing a dark green plaid dress. Hopefully camoflage enough!??
She had seen me on Halloween years ago all dressed to the max. That will be the excuse this time, "getting ready for Oct 30th!"
I will keep you all updated. If you don't hear from me, aurevoir! Ciao!

I remember going out to fill a bird feeder in our unfenced back yard, and not 100 feet away our neighbor's room mate/ friend? on the back patio smoking.... I jogged in my little high heeled sandals back into the house, I was in women's jeans, and a white blouse with my bra underneath, my wig and full make up and jewelry. I thought I was dead too - but nothing was ever said. What are they going to say? "Say, I saw you in a pretty dress, do you like to wear women's clothing?" We have since moved to our home on the bay, nothing to worry about now certainly.

I've forgotten and left earrings in, and gone out, full on en'drab...really femme' ones too, shopping, lunch, all that jazz, and not a word was said to me, a couple of odd looks, as the waiter shifted from his ticket, to my eyes, to the earrings, and back, but really, not a word at all.
Just put it out of your mind.
Just put it out of your mind.

I think sometimes people notice stuff, but don't comment, for several possible reasons.
First, if they've been around themselves, they may not think it's that odd.
They may be trying to be considerate and not bring it up unless you do.
It may feel uncomfortable to them so they don't bring it up for fear you may want to talk about it, or because they think it may be uncomfortable for you
Most people have come to understand that certain topics are just not discussed. Sort of like if you and your partner were making love and they came and knocked on your door. Maybe they hear something, but they aren't about to bring it up.

Agree with what has been said, a few neighbors waving. I wonder 10 or twenty years down the road where we will be. Those who are venturing out are increasing awareness, stories are being written. We are a different group in that we are fighting for our right to express how we are inside which is little different than who we are already. The only change is we want to fashion freedom, women had to fight for the right to wear clothing similar to men - pants and shirts today women who only wear dresses are thought unusual or strange. Women are also demanding that even the most masculine work be open to them. They fought for the right to smoke (and started suffering from the same lung diseases as men), and to vote. Don't we want some of the same things, there are men on the runways, working as nurses, secretaries, not that we want to be downwardly mobile but we want the right to fill any position we desire. In the end for men who are transgendered we want to right to be and dress feminine when we are feeling that way, we already have the right to feel and be as masculine as we want to be. I have too much time on my hands - sorry another flight of ideas, another diatribe but we are here to share our thoughts on all of this.
