In the beginning...

...sometime around puberty, I think, I just got curious. I wanted to know what it felt like to wear a dress. I have 3 sisters so no problem there. I just borrowed one, tried it on and was hooked. I was amazed some 30 years later to find that same dress in my Mom's things and it still fit me.
I've been thru several purges since the beginning. Some by choice, some by outside influence. (The Air Force frowns on that kind of thing). I'm just now getting started again after a purge about 4 years ago. It's going to be a real bummer rebuilding my wardrobe on my present budget but I will persevere.

I too have had many times when i stopped dressing. When i started doing it for the good reasons, it was hard to find any support. I have found that this place gives not just supportbut also a lot of love.So enjoy,keep dressing sis

Thank you very much for posting your beginnings story. You can do a search on the word purge and you'll see you're not alone with that.

I hope the forum helps you to put things in a box and out of site. This way you don't spend all of that money again purchasing new things.
