TWAS 2004

Post by Merinda »

Its not over yet but it soon will be ,

2004 (for me) will go down in history as the best year ever for crossdressing,

In May I went out in public for the first and second time , then I joined this forum .
There were 2 more outings throughout the year totalling 4 all up , I did 13 photosessions and only destroyed 1 ( bad photos )

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your support throughout this year , it has been just fantastic to have such good friends.

Thanks Merinda,
2004 (for me) will go down in history as the best year ever for crossdressing.
Are you sure you want to accept that? While it is certainly good to see that you are so positive and have had a good year, won't you need to have something to look forward to?

Here is to more good years that will go down in history for you. (--)

Love darlene.

Hi Darlene ,

I've done 13 photosessions this year and around the same in 2003 , next year I'm looking at doing only 2-3 maybe 4 photosessions.
It is important that the 2-3 are special memorable events so carefull planning will be needed ( decrease quantity - increase quality ) , I will be taking a step backwards in the amount of time spent crossdressing but I am still looking forward to continuing on and having fun . (--)

'04 was a wondrous and horrifying year for me. I've had to face hard facts about the reality of my being, and I have come through these trials forged stronger than ever I was before. I have begun to accept that my needs as a person are real important & nothing to be ashamed of, I have gained some degree of mastery over the Worm my Disease, I have rediscovered my spirituality, I have removed myself from destructive lifestyles and even quit smoking (the one addiction I was dead certain would be with me till the day I hacked out my lungs and expired), I have restarted my education and am on my way to a career in my chosen field(s) of endeavour. Looking back, Jah love me, this has been a roller coaster of a year. I may have accomplished more this year than in all of my previous adult life.

Joyeux Noel and a Happy New Year to all within this space, may your lives flow in harmony with the Way and the divine light well within your souls. Everything finally seems to be going right.

Merinda,

Thank you for starting this thread.

The biggest thing I'm grateful for is the continuing acceptance and support of my loving wife.

Next on my list is the acceptance, support, and exchange of ideas with my sisters on this forum.

Also, I got up enough courage to have my first photo session, and got 2 decent pictures (in the photo gallery) and an avatar from it, learning from the experience how to better prepare and set up future ones.

I've also made small steps in expanding some boundaries:
  • My heel height limit has been raised from 2 inches to 2 1/2 (I know, still really low for some of you, but my wife doesn't wear heels and I'm already one inch short of 6 feet tall with no shoes) I have a couple of 2 1/4 inch heels and just ordered a pair of silver 2 1/2 inch heels;

    I have permission to move up to silicone breast forms (but I'm not going to rush into buying a pair without some "paralysis by analysis");

    A fully (or even partially dressed) Jadeanne has never left the house, but my wife agreed to allow me to attend a CD/TG event sometime if I find one that I think is right for me (I still don't feel ready just yet, but that door is now open);
Who else would like to share their look back on 2004?

Well alright then...might as well get into the spirit I joined this forum 24 Feb 2004. It has been a good year, I am not the same person I was when I joined, and don't expect to be the same person a year from now. It is the first time in my life that I have been able to learn some important things without going through a lot of pain to learn them. And I enjoy that.

And I have you all to thank for that. Life is exciting.

Love Darlene.
