Rain, Rain

Post by Carol Ann »

I am so sick and tired of rain and more rain when will it ever stop?.
It's getting on planting time and the ground is socking wet and can not be worked. The only good thing is my sweet peas and green beans are growing like crazy. =D>

So Carol Ann is stuck in the house and the little misses has had her sweep and mop floors and washing down walls. Damn there are drew backs to crossdressing.

Hey, Carol Ann!

Anytime you get tired of doing floors, I've got some windows that need to be cleaned and a bedroom to be painted, and since we're in dire need of rain here you can work outdoors for me, too. The driveway needs to be powerwashed, gutters cleaned out, and, and, . . . oh, I'm sure I could find more work for you to do, just say when!!

Oh, I have a feeling that I'm <|>|<|> from Carol Ann, so I had better go into <<^o^>> !! :P

I hear you hon... as much as rain is good for the earth, it does get very frustrating to deal with constant rain after several days. Outdoor plans almost always get cancelled, and oftentimes many of us don't feel like going out in such weather. Here on the East Coast we have had some WET Spring & fall seasons recently, so I feel your pain. <<^^^>>

Silver Lady. If you lived near me Hun I'd be over in a flash. This weekend I powerwashed Mini's deck and her cousin Tommys. I detailed my sons and wifes cars. I wore my royal blue short sleeve cotton coverall with a twist. I usually wear black knee high rubber boots but my daughter Katie gave me a pair of bright yellow rubber boots. I was having a bad hair day and my hair looked like a fro. When I got to Mini's she said "You look just like Grover from Sesame Street. I'm leaving!" How sweet she is to me!Gotta love her!Hey Silver Lady!. Grover is real cute! Hugs

PS. I also do windows! Both sides too! I have this great little floor buffer for kitchen floors. You won't even know your oven when I get through with it! Side walks and driveways are my favorites!See what you did now Silver lady. You got me all excited! Now I won't sleep!

When I finishded this gal needed a shower and a fresh dress. Cann't figured out why she let's me get dress before she has all this stuff for me to do?, hard on the fingernails. (--) Carol Ann

Rain is a gift from God. Consider how we would feel if it went away and didn't come back...........

Rain

Post by Kendra Lynn »

Dear all: The planet definitely needs rain and here in the D.C. area we are scheduled for a period of "unsettled" weather as a low pressure system moves in. Unfortunately since I walk a lot (no driver's license) when rain is forecast, that means no CD'ing. Yep, the weather conditions which put a crimp in this CD's style are rain, strong wind, heavy snow, cold temperatures below 40 degrees fahrenheit and hot temperatures above 75 degrees fahrenheit. But all of those things are part of our climate system and one just has to be patient (which can be difficult) until the weather changes to more comfortable conditions.
Peace'n'Luv-- Kendra Lynn.

Don't fret ladies. Congress is in session so a large hot air mass will soon be blanketing the nation. They are so sweet to help us all lower our energy bills. Is this a great country or what? Hugs.

PS. Break out the capris ladies! I just love them.I've got mine on already.Very flattering for all size gals. Just steer clear of the flower prints. Not a good look on any shape! Definately a fashion faux pas but then again we all fall off the fashion wagon once in a while. You should see all the bruises on me!

Rain is a gift Absaroka.

Post by Jeannie »

It's been raining here in Connecticut all week. I went up to my Fathers house this morning and God was nice enough to leave a foot and a half of his gift in my Fathers cellar.
Come on over Absaroka but bring some boots, sump pump and a wet /dry vac and we can commune with nature. Hugs

Yes rain is definately needed to sustain life as we know it, but all good things in moderation!

I am fortunate enough to live close enough to my workplace where now more than ever, riding a bicycle there is convenient in sooo many ways. I will ride no matter what the weather is but sheesh....give a girl a break!!! :P

Carol Ann,

Come to the Mojave desert here in southern California. 300 sunshine days a year, 8-11" of rain per year, most of it in January and February. Nice low humidity 10-25% and rarely gets below freezing.

Of course it is 115 degrees most of July and August and even part of June. It can stay in the high hundreds and teens well into October and it even snows here once in a while.

I guess there is something wrong everywhere.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Hello Elizabeth my dear friend,
Sounds so nice but have waited until I retired to move to God's country and be happy. Gee no rain how would I grow my garden?, heat I can take
( Vietnam ) , cold ( Korea ) I cann't. Yes it gets cold here in the Ozarks but not - 20 or so and I have a nice warm fireplace to retreat too not a hole. Hay but thanks for the invite if I ever get your way will drop in and say hello and we can enjoy the sunshine together. (--) Carol Ann
