Dormant for the summer

Post by Daniel »

Around April or May this year, my interest in crossdressing became so weak that I decided to just let my leg hair grow back for the summer. Although people don't laugh at me or anything (or even make any comments!), I personally would prefer having the leg hair if not for the crossdressing, and I didn't think it was worth it this summer.

Now fall is drawing near (28 more days) and my interest level is starting to resurge. I still think I can wait until I can stop wearing shorts to do this, and from there decide if my interest remains strong enough to shave my legs next summer. When my hair was first fully grown back, my interest on a scale of 0 to 10 was about 0.5, but now it's almost 6.

I guess you guys were right earlier about anyone quitting, not ever bothering to post here again. If I ever quit for good, though, I'll make it a point to come back here in a year and announce the fact. That way, we'll know for sure if crossdressing can ever completely go away for anyone.

I don't think that no one ever quits -- in fact I know someone who knows a couple people who have. It just that these people didn't make any grand pronouncements about quitting, they just gradually lost interest and faded from the scene.

But more importantly, it's not whether you quit or not, but whether you're happy that's the crucial thing.

My interest was pretty dormant this summer also. My situation was not conducive nor was the weather but still maybe there is just something about the summer.

I have to agree that ideas like noone and never are pretty big. I'll stick with it's unusual that someone loses interest for good. I know I never did even when I went years without wanting to do it very much.

My interest just started to peak as the weather turned hot this year, so I've hung on through the worst of it, and come out stronger, I think. When it's cooler, I think I can pack less of a makeup kit, whereas I had to tote around the whole deal for repairs. Lucky for me, there aren't as many steps in my making up, so hauling out the whole thing isn't a major drama.

Cool weather is exciting?

Funny that you should mention the return of the urges recently. I was just thinking myself that it was about time to get a bit more active again. I shaved on and off through the summer. Am waiting till my last back treatment to buzz it all off for the fall winter days. Easier to keep discreet as I'm sure you know. Nevertheless, it is strange that we've experienced the same thing. I wonder how many others are effected like that.

I live in Kansas and it got downright horrible this year, plus the fact I'm carrying around more weight than I usually do. I stayed inside as much as possible. My gardening suffered but I didn't very much!

I went out shopping with my wife this afternoon and had a grand time helping her find some business wear. She wants to put off the leisure clothes shopping for a while since fashions have really reached an all time high in $$$.

I found a bunch of very sexy dresses at Dillards ($2-300) but I ain't worth that much. It was fun though I didn't try anything on. I did find one dress that I mentioned "I'd die to fit into this dress!" Ann nearly rolled on the floor laughing. I've never expressed myself like that before. That gave me pause to think!

One thing is, I would NEVER purge my clothes. The high dollar value of my smallish wardrobe is worth more selling or sharing with friends here.
Besides. It's so much of a turn on to open my closet and see my skirts and dresses that the decorative value is high as well.

Kisses and huggs :)
I started off with nothing. I still have most of it.
