Wieght

Post by Charlene »

Last night I got on the scales and I really was totally  on how much wieght I have gained since the summer. I knew I had gained a few pounds but I really wasn't ready for the truth.(so ashamed I won't post it)

I'm going to lose it but in the mean time I'll just be an under dresser for the time being. :(
I am what I am, and that's all that I am.

I have the probablime of not eating enough. Although I not one for excersing, if do not count using the stairs at my apt living on the 5 floor, but I way almost the same now as I do as when I left High school over 10 years ago. My body however has reshaped into something I am not that proud of but let me just say I am still under 140 mark.

After 5 years of running ~ 1200 miles a year, and eating sensibly, I'm back down to my high school weight.

Yes, I am petite and thin. I'm sure you all hate me for that! :P

Well when it comes to weight I have a hard time getting it off for a few reasons.
1. I love to eat
2. I love to cook rich foods
3. I have a hard time convincing myself to exercise.
4. I work a job where I sit on my butt 10 hours a night and read the net and post here. <-->

Oh, no . . . I'd never think that!

Well, I'm the kind of person who just has to stay fit. I'f I'm out of shape, I might even get bit depressed...silly me. When I'm out of shape, I'm unhappy, and when I'm in good shape, I'm happy! So I've never been overweight, and I intent to keep it that way.

Although, I did eat more than enough this christmas. I just couldn't help myself, my grandma cooks the best christmas foods. :)

I just wish that it would be as easy and fast to grow your hair, as it is to gain weight. :P
I've been trying to grow it for so long already...I grow impatient! And very often when my hair has been growing for several months, I get this terrible urge to cut it short again. But usually I can get past that feeling by just dying my hair.
Last year I was a redhead, brunette, blonde and everything between. :)

There is something that has been on my mind of late. Letting my hair grow long so that when I dress I will not have to wear a wig. I wonder how many of you gals don't wear wigs and go out dressed as women?

Oh! I almost forgot about this topic of weight? I have not been well since before Thanksgiving and have lost weight. Am sad that I missed out on the good eats but now that I have started to feel better ( the wonder of drugs) I am kind of happy to not have gained over the Holidays.

Side note, next Thursday I start back at Weight Watchers. One of these days I hope to have a nicer thinner AVATAR [-o<

Nancy,

Your avatar is just fine, trust me! The dignity I see there is a huge part of your appeal. I know this is extremely difficult in our beauty- and youth-obssessed culture, but losing weight should always be a matter of health, not just looks. You're mistaken if you think we can't see the Nancy within, girl! Who you are shines through in your words as much as (if not more than) in your picture. 8)

Love,
CJ

What can I say CJ? You and all the other gals on this forum are all such a great breath of fresh air for me. It's true though that I have issues about my self that I think are so noticable to others but in may cases do not seem to be seen and other parts of who and what I am seem to out shine those issues. In a way it's like I see my self as projecting an image but there is a very srong overpowering back light that, to the viewer, out powers how I think I am presenting.

Sad to say that my weight is a health issue with me but I have discovered that the more I have set my self free to open up and outwardly express all of who and what I am my weight issues are slowly but surly becoming less.

Did you ever notice the ones that talk about how youth and being thin not being all that great a deal ARE the cute younger thin girls?

We started new diets today. My wife knows that for me it's all about a smaller dress size.

At the age you are in, it is actually very easy to get into and out of shape. Believe it or not, the older you get, the harder it will be to get physically in good shape. Eating healthy food alone wont do, you need to excercise as well. Few times a week, even that will do.

But what's stopping you from being a swimmer, or getting into good shape?
