Chevy Impala with a 305.

Paul McCartney turns 65 today.

Not. Most bands self destruct after a few years for one reason or another. It's like being married!

Abbey Road or the White Album?

Love
Jeannie

PS. I remember watching them on the Ed Sullivan show. I really miss those dogs jumping through hoops and people spinning plates on long sticks. Where's Topo Giggio when you need him?
My favorite Don Herbert died last week. Mr. Wizard. The orginal Bill Nye the science guy. I still miss Soupy Sales and White Fang. Those were the days. Watching TV with a TV tray and Swanson Salsbury steak frozen TV dinner. What the heck is a Salsbury? I don't want to know!
I think Virginia liked the Show of Shows with Sid Caeser and Emmajean Coco. But she is way older than me!

The Beatles

The movie "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" was not made with any of the members of the Beatles!

Which of these singers that appeared in Sgt. Pepper do you prefer:

Peter Frampton or the Bee Gees?

Skunks. More style and an interesting non-violent solution to dealing with aggression, if you ask me.

(WHat I wanted to ask was: who's more at fault for the state of education in the U.S.? Parents, or teacher's unions? ... but I'm not sure if that steps on a line around here.)

My in laws are much more sane. Mine are a bunch of Irish Catholics. I mean just my mothers side (and she only had me) has 24 grandkids who now passing down the hellion tradition to our own offspring.

I blame the parents for not taking an active role in their child's education. Too many parents look at school as a free daycare and then place all the blame on the teachers when the child does not suceed. Wake up these kids are our future!!! Now can I brag a little on my 11 year old? She was nominated and accepted to go to the Junior National Leadership Conference in Washington DC in October. GO KENZIE!!

Private school or home school

Private school - - kids need to interact with their peer group and experience diversity (in all its forms).

Continuing the school theme:

Prefer schools that are: Co-ed -or- Same gender?
