Secrecy

A 'round table' for CDs, TGs and GG/SOs to talk with each other. We're all in this together, so let's make the most of it.

Absolutely....NOT! I told my wife long before we were even engaged, and have been very open about it. It really makes life a lot less stressful! Little things, like not worrying about being 'butch' when she gets home, keeping quiet about loving poufy skirts, etc. Now...if only it were simply acceptable for me to dress in the world? Sigh....

Secrecy is no thrill for me

Post by MelodyPerkins »

I would rather that I openly be who I am. I am so envious of people who do that, and are accepted.

It's weird,...my wife has issues with me,...yet,...she has a relative who was born a female, and is in the process of transition. He has a male name, beard, male friends,...etc.... Everyone accepts him for who he is. No one uses the incorrect pronoun, he's not shunned,....it's so beautiful to see.

I see the same thing with parents who openly allow their children to express gender. They do not force it either way, but accept and love their child regardless.

At my job, everyone knows that I am TG. No one freaks about it. My boss allows me to dress as I want.

Secrecy sucks.
You're only as feminine as you feel.
