Congrats girl! Expect to get laughed at huh? I suspect you have gotten to laugh at the better half a few times in y'alls relationship so it's only fair she gets to have some fun too.
If you two can keep it lighthearted and not so deadly serious, all should go just fine. Heck, I suspect you've laughed at yourself in front of that mirror once in awhile; I know I have.
As for the pacing, yeah. Pacing is a good thing; helps you both adjust to the new world.
