I like being "different".

How are you dealing with or handling this aspect of your life?

I guess I like to be different, but that has nothing to do with my being trans. I'm just an oddball; always have been. I've hardly ever conformed to anything.

So what has differnt gotten me lately? A funny moment. Last night when the better half, one of my GG buds who considers me a woman, and I were out for an after hours last night. My bud started fumbling with my name to say in front of Ro (better half). My bud calls me Davita no matter how I dress and I was drab last night. So I listened to her hem and haw for a moment until I told her just call me "D".

My being dressed and not dressed with my friends always has them fumbling with pronouns and pausing to use the "correct" name. I'm getting them trained to ignore the clothes as I am not different because of what I wear. I'm still Davita and still a woman.
