Obviously i like boy style underwear but i prefer real boxers or breifs or y fronts cas the opening at the front makes it feel more masculine to me and actually the by styled one are weirdly tight

There are styling difernce between men and women pants/panties but I prefer panties or knickers since they are less restrictive to the male form and on the whole a greater choice of colours is available. On a warm day as male tighties are not the most comfortable!

looked just like men's white briefs, except that the front did not have an opening (It was sewn shut).

That reminds me, I have some male briefs that I have sewn shut on purpose, not to look like what you saw, but because otherwise sometimes some of my less desirable body parts migrate to much less comfortable places. Of course, when en-femme, it's panties for me, and no modification required.
