'speed up the healing time'? While cauterizing would probably speed up the healing, you'd also have dark spots on your earlobes from the burned skin, even when chemically induced.
I said it before, I'll say it again: I would only consider wearing those new pearl drop earrings
if they were very lightweight. If they're not, then sorry, dear friend, stick with the starter studs for Saturday night!
However, I presume that you'll go ahead and wear the pearl drop earrings anyway.

really careful while wearing those dangly earrings on Saturday! Those holes are going to be very raw still, and adding the extra weight to them you may be doing more harm than good - - you could be tearing the hole, causing more damage, pain, and delayed healing time, not to mention an increased risk for infection.
Whether you follow these recommendations or not remains to be seen.
