I'm shocked, Donna! You have always been a leader on our forum, someone to look to for wisdom and guidance. And you were married only a few months ahead of Debbie and me.
Nothing is life is fair, but this seems particularly unfair. It sounds like you have taken the high road, and been perfectly honest with her.
I think it may be depression. I am really depressed myself, but not about crossdressing. It's about the only hobby I haven't backed away from recently. I woke up this morning thinking about (now official) certain loss of my job again in three months, with a killer toothache (clenching and bruxism), and spent most of the day bailing water from a leaky basement. Yesterday I arranged to sell my student trumpet, which was a gift from my mother in 1965 (yes, for the money), and last night my blood pressure measured 178/88. Things just have to improve.
